So the reason behind I created this comic is because both me and our cartoonist was asked by our school paper adviser(SPA) to create a comic about our presscon.
And this is my piece.
This comic is based on our personal experience caused by the presscon.
The presscon is moved and the original date of it should be in December (I forgot the exact date) but it was delayed due to a lack of budget.
Many of the campus journalist was disappointed by the time they heard the announcement that the presscon was moved to January(still not sure).
And this was the reason why I was given a task to create a comic about it.

This comic was created in the ibispaint app and in my opinion its more convenient to use. There are many tracing patterns, brushes, and backgrounds that can be used if you are creating a digital art in a fastest way.
And I used some of the tracing patterns and backgrounds since I need to finish this work immediately.

Steps on how I created the comic

1.Each pages of the comic I started in creating their frames and then divide it.

2.I put the tracing patterns which are the chibi figures (I choose these since they are cute) and also some of my simple lettering sketches. For the third page I just traced the last position of my character in the second page.

3.I designed the tracing figure into my desired characters.

4.I colored all the characters

5.Puting the background design

6.Putting all the dialogues.
7.And lastly correcting some mistakes and adding some finishing touch✨.

And for the first page, I firstly did the background design which is putting our school building (picture with permission from Teng Fuentes), next is putting the introduction, followed by my drawing of our "the inked hands" logo and lastly adding some border design and my name and signature.

And thats it, it took me 3 days to finish this project but all those days are fun and worth it. It is my first time creating a comic digitally and I admit that its not that perfect but the important thing is that I was satisfied by the final results. 🎉
