Here is an in-progress shot of my latest handmade original color drawing. It continues my recurring theme of doodles as fine art. In addition to this fine symphony of doodles, the artwork highlights the source of these fine squiggly lines: Dr. Doodle's Doodle Elixir. Also comes in bulk economy sized bottle (while supplies last)!
I drew this while taking a tour of Heritage House in Riverside, California. It is a great museum with a rich history. It's a little difficult to spot in the drawing, but I also added into this doodle various elements from the tour of one of Riverside's oldest and best preserved Victorian homes. Can you spot the old telephone, chandelier crystals, and an old clock in this sketch?
Appreciate this incredibly kind honor!!!
The bit about the bulk bottle of Dr. Doodle Elixir is such a fun touch, it makes the whole doodle universe feel even bigger,.
Now I want a gallon on my desk for instant squiggles, and I bet museum ADmin would stock it too.
Wild how taht tiny detail ends up shaping the vibe of the page.
So glad you too want to stock up on Dr. Doodle Elixir! Really having fun with this.
Count me in, the bulk bottle is defintely a clever touch. Your really dialing this eli;xir theme up. Any chance of a Heritage House special label for the museum shop?
Hah, that would be pretty cool. They do have a tiny but nice gift shop there. But my guess is that satire is not exactly their vibe for the store.
Your right, satire might not match the gift shop vibe, and that's fair. How about a clasisc Heritage House label with a small < wink to Dr. Doodle, like a tasteful crest and the clock hint. We keep the gallon jug gag for the online crowd, and the store gets the refined bottle that still nods to ROOT.
