Hi everyone, today I had to squeeze in time for painting because I was going to feel cranky otherwise.
Here's the final piece
I started with a sketch this morning which I had to leave for a while to attend the first zoom meeting of my orientation week at the university. I met about 20 of my fellow students, many of which are still in their home countries because of visa issues. It was nice getting to know a little bit about each other and about our supervisor. I felt less worried when I heard about their challenges and the empathy with which it was responded to.
I then painted the base colors/ first layer of paint
This paper dries really fast, so painting the second layer happened quickly
And I retouched some areas a bit got contrast
