Hello everyone and welcome dear hivers to my vlog of the day! Today I want to share with you the exciting process of creating a scenography that I made for a school troupe. In order to add a magical touch to this event, I decided to use cardboard, cutter and paints to build an amazing castle, a fierce and tender dragon and a beautiful princess.

The making of this piece required a lot of creativity and patience. The centerpiece, the castle, was a little over three feet tall. To make sure all the pieces fit together perfectly, I spent an entire week on this project. It was essential to take care in the handling of the different parts and their correct assembly, to create a work with surprising dimensions.

¡Hola a todos y bienvenidos queridos hivers a mi vlog del dia! Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes el emocionante proceso de creación de una escenografía que realicé para una comparsa escolar. Con el objetivo de añadir un toque mágico a este evento, decidí utilizar cartón, cutter y pinturas para construir un increíble castillo, un feroz y tierno dragón y una hermosa princesa.

La realización de esta obra requirió de mucha creatividad y paciencia. La pieza central, el castillo, medía un poco más de un metro de altura. Para asegurarme de que todas las piezas encajaran perfectamente, dediqué una semana entera a este proyecto. Fue fundamental tener cuidado en el manejo de las distintas partes y en su correcto ensamblaje, para crear una obra con dimensiones sorprendentes.

STEP BY STEP - PASO A PASO

I used sturdy cardboard to build the main structures of the castle and the dragon. With the help of my cutter, I molded and cut out every detail to give them shape and volume. Then came the most exciting moment: painting. I used acrylic paints in different colors to bring each element to life. The vibrant and striking tones provided the touch of fantasy that my scenery needed.

I enthusiastically added each piece to the set. The dragon, with his majestic gaze and wings, stood around the castle, as if protecting the princess. The latter, in her elaborate dress and crowned with a golden cardboard tiara, was placed on the highest tower of the castle.

Utilicé cartón resistente recilado para construir las estructuras principales del castillo y del dragón. Con la ayuda de mi cutter, moldeé y recorté cada detalle para darles forma y volumen. Luego, llegó el momento más emocionante: pintar. Utilicé pinturas acrílicas de distintos colores para dar vida a cada elemento. Los tonos vibrantes y llamativos aportaron el toque de fantasía que necesitaba mi escenografía.

Con mucho entusiasmo fui agregando cada pieza al conjunto. El dragón, con su mirada y sus alas majestuosas, se colocó alrededor del castillo, como si estuviera protegiendo a la princesa. Esta última, con su vestido elaborado y coronada con una diadema de cartón dorado, fue ubicada en la torre más alta del castillo.

The final result was spectacular. The interaction of colors, textures and shapes generated a sense of excitement and amazement in all the spectators. The school troupe was a success, and my scenography stood out among all the others thanks to the creativity and dedication I put into it.

This project taught me that sometimes we only need simple materials such as cardboard and paints to create something truly extraordinary. The combination of imagination and manual skill can take us to incredible places. I hope this experience inspires you to explore your own creative potential and embark on projects that spark your passion.

El resultado final fue espectacular. La interacción de los colores, las texturas y las formas generaron una sensación de emoción y asombro en todos los espectadores. La comparsa escolar fue todo un éxito, y mi escenografía destacó entre todas las demás gracias a la creatividad y dedicación que le puse.

Este proyecto me enseñó que, a veces, solo necesitamos materiales simples como cartón y pinturas para crear algo realmente extraordinario. La combinación de imaginación y habilidad manual puede llevarnos a lugares increíbles. Espero que esta experiencia les inspire a explorar su propio potencial creativo y a embarcarse en proyectos que despierten su pasión.
