Daily Drawing Challenge: Day 24 - Cemetery

Hello everyone! Greetings to you all.

Today, I present to you my new artwork for the daily drawing challenge day 24 with the theme "Cemetery."

A cemetery is a place where the remains of dead people are buried. The area is specifically designated as a burial ground.

The work depicts a grave yard in the evening hour. The cemetery man's house is at the center with a walkway to it. The house has a cross placed atop possibly for protection. Approaching the cemetery, there's an inscription on it - boldly written "Home of the Dead."

There are two trees behind the house. One, which is at the extreme has no leaves and dangerous birds can be seen perching on it. The other at the left is lively with leaves on it.

At the right side has graves with cross signs while on the other side, graves were made with sculptures probably for people who were prominent.

The work was done with a blue ballpoint pen on a cardboard paper.

Here are my steps:

You have made excellent drawing of cemetery. I think all the things that you included in the cemetery came from your mind. How do you imagine it?

I think It is based on personal experience and things I have seen in the movies and images. So with those, I initiate the idea and get a picture of what I want on my mind. Then I made a first sketch of it in a rough sheet. Then I try to think of what to add and what not to add to make it interesting. After trails and errors, I came up with that.

Nice, these is one of the most amazing pen art i seen.

I love your drawing @maxwellmarcusart it is interesting even though it is just done by pencil :D

Thanks a lot @cryptopie. Yeah it is done with only pen and I'm glad you love it.
