Getting a realistic result can be challenging and daunting. I think I am improving with every new practice. This particular piece could tell that.
If you want to get such result, you will have to flow according to the contours of the legs. Study the veins around it.
It's always hard to figure them all out but with constant practice and persevere, you will.
The piece depicts two foot on a ground. One resting behind the other. Crossing hatching was virtually used to depict the ground and shadows.
