I love to see the white pen on black paper mainly because it's less common than the reverse.
I particularly like portrait drawing. I've done some in the past that could be deemed dreadful, but I have future plans to practice, and seeing stuff like this inspires me.
I like the details of it all:)

Yes, the effect of the white pen on the black paper is enormous. Sometimes you can even surprise yourself with the result you get with small touches. I'm so happy that you think I've inspired you. I'm sure you can get great drawings with a little practice. It just takes a little patience.

Maybe one day I'll set my mind to it. I have the tools and material and some textbooks. I just need to take the time and commit and work to improve.
The closest thing I recall having the striking black and white contrast was origami... when I used to do a variety of crafts.
