Hello friends, day 13! Thank you for making it this far with me, and a big greeting to you all. Putting aside the superstitions tied to this number, on the thirteenth I was feeling quite unmotivated, so I decided to do something different. I started by warming up my wrist with some pen strokes and a few simple sketches, but I didn’t like them at all. Since I felt discouraged about drawing, I decided to try one of those 30-day challenges in advance—but I left it unfinished. Day 1 was a self-portrait, so I made a few. I have no experience with portraits, but I liked some of them. Below, I continued with the task of shading a head.
¡Hola amigos, día 13! Gracias por llegar hasta aquí conmigo y un saludo grande. Quitando las fatalidades relacionadas a este número, el día trece me sentía bastante desmotivado, así que decidí hacer algo distinto. Comencé calentando un poco la muñeca con líneas a bolígrafo y algunos bocetos simples, no me gustaron para nada. Como me sentía desmotivado por dibujar, decidí hacer uno de esos retos de 30 días adelantado, lo dejé a medias. El día 1 era autorretrato, así que hice algunos. No tengo nada de experiencia con el retrato, pero algunos sí me gustaron. Debajo continué con la tarea del sombreado de cabeza.
On the next page, at the top, I copied some Loomis drawings, borrowed the shading from an anime-style head, and drew some avocados—just because. To avoid leaving blank spaces, I added some doodles.
En la siguiente página, en la parte superior, copié algunos dibujos de Loomis, robé el sombreado en una cabeza estilo anime, y dibujé unos aguacates porque sí. Para no dejar espacios en blanco, hice un poco de garabatos.

Lo importante es que no lo dejas hacer,eso es bueno. La desmotivación siempre está a la vuelta de la esquina 😅Yo pasé como 1 o 2 años sin dibujar nada, por eso me hice un mini SketchBook y funcionó. Yo también debería de ponerme a practicar esas cosas 😝 admito que da flojera.
