Tom Tom candy

Hello hivers,

Hello Good morning everyone ! Here is a pencil drawing i recently completed of a Tom Tom candy a familiar and nostalgic object for many, especially in Nigeria and other part of the west Africa. I started from an initial sketch, its a nostalgic little piece many of us grew up with.
I chose the subject not just for its familiarity, but to explore how ordinary, everyday items can carry deep cultural and emotional significance. From sketch to shading, i focused on capturing the wrapper's crinkle , shadow and highlights to bring it to life on paper.
