Hello people! Welcome to a new art post 🎭.

I had abandoned this portrait a few days ago, for some reason I stopped liking it and started another one haha it usually happens! I know that it has happened to many like me, in my case is that if it does not excite me from the beginning then I abandoned it and often even delete it, because I like to enjoy the process of the pieces I do, what happened at the time of making this one was that I blocked, at this time I do not remember why, but I isolated it. Today sitting in front of the computer I decided to take it up again hehe and I'm glad I did it, I really liked how it turned out, although it was quite simple, I loved it! Here is the process...

¡¡¡Hola gente!!!

At the beginning I was supposed to do a kind of fan art with it, that's why I started with a very light and opaque skin tone. When I took it up again I changed that idea, and I wanted to make it quite simple, I started to reinforce the shadows and pink tones.

I was making random and quite marked strokes, it occurred to me to make the girl blind and to give more strength to her eyes I placed very strong shadows around them, also here I wanted to intensify more the lights on the face. Something that made the look stronger is that I marked the eyelashes again, this time in a stronger way.

When doing the hair as I already had a dark base what I did was to focus on the highlights, so hair by hair and varying the shades of brown I did this, in some points I blurred a little to make it look more natural.

Something I'm doing lately is giving the face some touches of purple and red in the shadows of the skin. To finish off I added some shimmer to her eyes and did some strokes in the background. So much for today's process. I hope you like it.

We call it writer's block in screenwriting. When suddenly a screenwriting goes blank not knowing what to write again.

It's good that you isolated yourself from the work until you get your ideas back on. The picture is captivating.

Sounds poetic heheh, thank you very much for the comment ❤️

woooh!! que elegancia de trabajo.

hmm, this is so good.

Thanks 😊

Thank you for your support ☺️

@oscariart Cool piece. Thanks for explaining your process. I have an ipad with Procreate, but just haven't warmed up to it yet. I tend to enjoy drawing by hand, though I often scan them and create vector versions in AI.

This is sooooo good, give us tutorial videos. I too want to make originals like these but I just don't have the confidence and skills ofcourse 😅. It's just so good, whatever you said while making man I soo want to feel that like going with the process and deciding on feelings what to do nxt. can you suggest me something like hoe to get started with originals 🙏.
