(ESP-ENG) Nate "Damn" Jacobs, Euphoria

Creo que ha quedado bastante claro lo mucho que me gusta el arte, en cualquier forma, aunque eso me ha acarreado algunos problemas, como por ejemplo el enfrentarme a cosas nuevas, he tenido muchos enfrentamientos conmigo misma, esta pintura en aguadas es un claro ejemplo, fue un reto hacer esta pintura, desde que comencé con el boceto, hasta donde tuve que mezclar colores, me encontré a mi misma un poco estresada, con dudas, que tuve que ir desmantelando unas a unas, este es el proceso que mostraré en este post y su resultado, espero que les guste.

I think it has become quite clear how much I like art, in any form, although that has brought me some problems, such as facing new things, I have had many confrontations with myself, this gouache painting is a clear example , it was a challenge to make this painting, since I started with the sketch, to where I had to mix colors, I found myself a little stressed, with doubts, that I had to dismantle one by one, this is the process that I will show in this post and its result, I hope you like it.

Para todos aquellos que quieran iniciar con el dibujo, pintura, vamos, que cualquier arte que se pueda imaginar, se necesita de mucha practica, se necesita de disciplina, que no es sencillo, se requiere en ocasiones de forzarse a uno mismo a hacer las cosas, eso es cierto, pero puedo decirles que este boceto es el claro ejemplo de que a pesar de la dificultad de dibujar y hacer estas cosas, si se puede, me estrese desde el primer momento donde el lápiz tocó el papel, sobre todo porque me preocupaba como en otras ocasiones no me quedara bien, que tuviese que repetirlo unas cuantas veces y eso si me paso, tuve que borrar y volver a hacer muchas facciones para que quedara como quería pero si pude hacerlo a fin de cuentas.

For all those who want to start with drawing, painting, come on, that any art that can be imagined, it takes a lot of practice, it takes discipline, which is not easy, sometimes it requires forcing oneself to do the things, that's true, but I can tell you that this sketch is a clear example that despite the difficulty of drawing and doing these things, if possible, I was stressed from the first moment the pencil touched the paper, especially because I was worried, as on other occasions, that it would not look good on me, that I would have to repeat it a few times and that if it happened to me, I had to erase and redo many features to make it look the way I wanted, but I was able to do it in the end.

Quise pintar letras en violeta y en azul que estuviesen en el rostro de Nate Jacobs, cada uno de manera monocromática; ya que sacó a colación el nombre de Nate Jacobs, les diré que este dibujo lo hice gracias a un capricho mío de pintar de nuevo, busque muchas cosas por pintar y me decidí por este personaje de una serie estadounidense llamada "Euphoria", lo elegí por ser "villano" de la serie, digo villano entre comillas porque lo interesante de esta serie es que no hay buenos o malos, sino personas que se equivocan, claramente de un modo muy novelesco y exagerado, elegí pintar la palabra "Damn" en sus ojos porque es un personaje que parece estar diseñado para demostrar todo lo malo de un hombre con traumas y mucho machismo, los colores violeta y azul los escogí porque son colores muy concurridos en la primera temporada de la serie; puedo decirles que hacer esas letras no fue tan complicado como pensé que podría llegar a ser, me senti comoda haciendolo y me complació al ver lo que había logrado.

I wanted to paint purple and blue letters that were on Nate Jacobs's face, each in monochrome; since he brought up the name of Nate Jacobs, I will tell you that I did this drawing thanks to a whim of mine to paint again, I looked for many things to paint and I decided on this character from an American series called "Euphoria", I chose him for being a "villain" of the series, I say villain in quotes because the interesting thing about this series is that there are no good guys or bad guys, but people who are wrong, clearly in a very romantic and exaggerated way, I chose to paint the word "Damn" in his eyes because he is a character that seems to be designed to show everything bad about a man with traumas and a lot of machismo, I chose the violet and blue colors because they are very popular colors in the first season of the series; I can tell you that making those lyrics was not as complicated as I thought it would be, I felt comfortable doing it and I was pleased to see what I had achieved.

Mezcle muchísimas pinturas, demasiadas, hay una parte negativa al pintar con pinturas acrílicas que se debe ser muy rápido, se tiene que pintar de inmediato sino quieres perder el color que has mezclado y la pintura, pinte en menos de 3 horas esta pintura para que no se secara con inmediatez, aun pienso que tengo problemas para mezclar colores para que resulte cualquier color de piel, me cuesta muchísimo, es algo que tendría que ir aprendiendo con el paso del tiempo e investigado; en esta pintura mezcle el color anaranjado, con rosado y muchisimo blanco, para las sombras mucho marrón con anaranjado y rosado, confieso que me tomaba más mezclar el color que el pintar.

Mix a lot of paints, too many, there is a negative part when painting with acrylic paints that you have to be very fast, you have to paint immediately otherwise you want to lose the color that you have mixed and the paint, paint this paint in less than 3 hours so that it did not dry immediately, I still think that I have problems mixing colors so that any skin color results, it costs me a lot, it is something that I would have to learn over time and investigate; In this painting I mixed the color orange, with pink and a lot of white, for the shadows a lot of brown with orange and pink, I confess that it took me longer to mix the color than to paint.

Por mucho que diga lo difícil y complejo que es hacer esto, es más un cuestión de iniciativa y deseo, yo aprendí y disfruté hacer este dibujo, espero que ustedes, las personas que ven mis posts, que me apoya también disfruten al ver mis dibujos y les guste.
