RE: ENGAGE-ONHIVE: IDEAL PERFECT PICTURE

in OCD4 years ago

Yes I do. I they're all written down ready to be executed. It's really been going well lately. Just the educational aspect tho and it's taking a lot of time to accomplish.

School I thought I'd round up in 3 and half years is prolonged to four years or more. Life changes occuring.

I don't mind if all of them comes through. I want the essentials. I don't know the essentials yet it's when I've lived my life and life chooses for me then I am forced to accept whatever path choosen for me.

As long as it's a clear and straight path, free of vices and negativity or negative actions I'm good to go.

Thank you very much for your response @nickyhavey. You always fall through with your words of advice and encouragement and also your beautiful ways with words.

Yeah with the global pandemic, I think a lot of people's plans had changed hey?

Things will work themselves out in the end, they always do in some way. I've learned (could argue still learning) to let certain things go and focus on the positive but without negative, there'd be no balance - I usually think of the yin yang symbol, a bit of good in a lot of bad balances with a lot of good in a bit of bad... such is life!

You're smart though so I have full confidence you will make the most of your life and opportunities 😃

there'd be no balance

There's a popular trend with this caption "there'd be no balance" in my country and in our native language translated as life no jus balance😂😂😂

It still means your own translation but then once we look at it, life is not balanced. As a human we're not balanced, we're not perfect, always yearning for more, trying to be in perfect shape, have a lot of money and get more and more based on our individual differences.

I guess if we all in the world were given all these things at one, that is a balanced life, we'd never appreciate the value of working since everything has been provided for us already.

You're smart though so I have full confidence you will make the most of your life and opportunities 😃

Thank you very much. I'm trying to make a good life for myself before the inevitable happens.

I agree with you, we aren't balanced generally and everyone has their own definition of it. I guess you could replace the word with being "happy" and it would probably make more sense but life is a rich tapestry in any case.

As for not appreciating things, usually that's the case when you have too much of one thing... i.e. not balanced 😂

So yeah, in summary - to appreciate things you need to have an imbalance of things, despite wanting to have balance...

Anyone else confused yet? 🤣

Yes please I'm confused with the words rich tapestry

to appreciate things you need to have an imbalance of things, despite wanting to have balance...

Such a twist of words. I'm afraid you'll have to come back and explain what you mean here😂😂😂😂

"Life is rich tapestry" is something my Granddad always said, mostly to my Mum but he was a psychologist and had a great way with words. A tapestry is like a woven fabric with pictures or illustrations sewn in to them that tell a story or life event.

A RICH tapestry is one with many pictures, life stories but not just in your own personal sense. Everyone in this world has their own life stories to share and they have interacted with others to create their tapestry. So with this saying, life has many complex events that are all interwoven in the fabric of our lives.

Such a twist of words

Haha, it was meant to be, I'm cheeky like that 😁 I was replying to this part of what you said:

I guess if we all in the world were given all these things at one, that is a balanced life, we'd never appreciate the value of working since everything has been provided for us already.

You have to have imbalance in life to appreciate the things that mean the most to you. Like you said, if you had everything and had that balance, what would you appreciate if it wasn't there?

So in our strive for balance, we actually need that IMbalance to appreciate the things that are important to us.

I'd love to find out how many times we've said the words "balance" and "imbalance" in the last conversation thread! Those words start to sound weird the more you say them right?! 😃

😂😂😂😂😂
Yes I agree with you.
We're now balancing an imbalanced situation 🤓🤓🤓

A RICH tapestry is one with many pictures, life stories but not just in your own personal sense.

So in essence you're trying to say that I have to interact and create pictures with others before I can get my own rich tapestry.

"Life is rich tapestry" is something my Granddad always said, mostly to my Mum but he was a psychologist and had a great way with words.

Now I see where those wonderful words originated from. It's in the blood. You don't have to think much to join two and two together to make a wonderful speech or text.

I'm appreciative if the things I have though I still thrive to achieve more. It's not selfishness or anything. This is me improving on myself right.

So in essence you're trying to say that I have to interact and create pictures with others before I can get my own rich tapestry.

That's something you will figure out for yourself.

In the literal sense of the word, a "tapestry" is defined as the following:

a piece of thick textile fabric with pictures or designs formed by weaving coloured weft threads or by embroidering on canvas, used as a wall hanging or soft furnishing

  • used in reference to an intricate or complex sequence of events

According to Google...

So you can think of life like a blank canvas that you can fill with whatever events and enriching things you want to fill it with. It's these events that all link together and make your life what it is and unique and awesome!

I'm appreciative if the things I have though I still thrive to achieve more. It's not selfishness or anything. This is me improving on myself right.

Nothing selfish about that! It's what drives and motivates you, make sure you keep that drive going and you'll go far!
