Hello again, Hive!

It's been months since I've been away and haven't done anything on the platform. Things happened, and my life has changed a lot in the last few months. Like what I have said before, I've never thought about blogging before because I'm a person who cannot express his self through words, but I wanted to do something different from what I usually do.

Again, it's me, Darren. I know I already told you about myself months ago. When we started to get our papers, visas, and everything else we needed to move to Australia, I stopped writing on my blog. Yes, you read it correctly. Our family has been getting ready for our flight for the past few months. Also, my father had a vacation in the Philippines last September 2022. It is also his way to pick us up going to Australia.

As of now, it’s been two months of being in a different country. I am still the old and usual Darren, but the only thing that changed is the location and region where I am currently living. We are in Sydney, Australia and this is where my father works as a mechanic in a company of machines. He decided to get us after he filed his permanent residency here.

At first, we found it hard to adjust and even had jetlagged because of the sudden change in time zone. Here in Sydney, we are 3 hours advance from the Philippine’s time. Though it is not much of an adjustment, we still find it hard coping up. Another thing that is still challenging us is the weather and the season. I am still having colds and flu because of Australia’s temperature. There days when it’s scorching hot, and some days were cold.

The realization that I needed to get back on track with writing blogs came about when we started wandering around Sydney and enjoying the city. I have traveled to some amazing locations, and one of my favorite past times is fishing. When I was still living in the Philippines, I spent a lot of time doing things outside, and I've found that doing a variety of outdoor activities has become a normal part of my life here in Sydney too.

I decided to restart my blogging adventure in order to take use of the new opportunities and ideas I gained during my exploration. It could be difficult because of the lack of consistency, but there is always a reward for those that put in the effort. I am confident that I will be able to find a solution to this problem and be able to tell everyone about the life I am currently have now and the place in which I currently reside.
