Many of you may be wondering, "Hey! How do they handle the medicine donations? Is there a guarantee that they delivered something?" or things like "Will they have a record of their food deliveries? How will they do now that they will deliver food to other organizations?"
Today we bring you a FAQ on how we handle our days and how they work is presented:
"Food for Smiles" Program
The purpose of this project is to provide communities and social dining rooms with a food supply to support low-income children and senior citizens in the face of the economic/social crisis in Venezuela, as well as to support hospital workers in the intake of food in the face of long working days in the emergency area without a food supply during their workday.
Management process for the community approach:
- The foundation visits a community/NGO/church/hospital to make a prior assessment of the target community, or alternatively a community/NGO/church/hospital contacts the project raising the situation of a specific population.
- The program visits the community with the applicant to conduct a participatory diagnosis.
- The testimonies of the target community and possible cases of malnutrition in the community are collected, filling out a form with information.
- A second visit is made where a nutrition specialist determines the population and establishes a food plan for them or, failing that, data is collected from the organization that has an established dining room.
- Once this data is collected, the Supply Request is filled out.
- The case is managed and the funds are collected.
- Once the resources have been collected, the purchase of raw materials for the food intake is made.
- In the particular case of the hospital sector, visits are made with food prepared according to the emergency personnel on duty for delivery.
Required documents for the delivery of supplies:
- Copy or scan of the identity document of the person and organization that will serve as the person or persons responsible for the dining room.
- Contact number and e-mail address.
- Exact address where the dining room will operate.
- Supply Request Form (Provided by the foundation).
- Letter of exposure where you also indicate the number of people to be served, the days the dining room will operate and the type of meals you expect to provide (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
Miscellaneous considerations:
The community/NGO/church/hospital or organized civil society that will serve as responsible for said community must maintain periodic contact with the Corazón de Venezuela Foundation to allow updates on the status of the community, as well as photographs, videos and information relevant to the community.
The resources given to the organizations will be in the form of food and never in cash.
The community/NGO/church/hospital or organized civil society that will be responsible for the community will have the commitment to comply with the provisions herein.
This work guide may be subject to modifications at any time in order to improve the program.

"Drops of Love" medicine program:
Through this program the COVEN foundation seeks to provide support to the needy population in the face of the high cost of medicines and medical supplies in the country, thus providing them with access to them for their different treatments totally free of charge.
Application process:
- A natural person approaches our foundation and states his/her case or that of a direct family member.
The person presents a donation request letter or if he/she does not have one, it is provided by the foundation to be filled out by him/her. - The person attaches a copy of the medical report or prescription to the request.
- A copy of the applicant's identity document is attached.
Delivery process:
- The foundation checks in the inventory of our medicine bank to verify if the requested medicine is available according to the medical prescription/medical report.
- A medical form is filled out with the beneficiary's data.
- The beneficiary fills out a delivery form indicating: Name and Surname, ID card number, address, telephone number, signature, and fingerprint.
- The record indicates the products delivered and the quantity of each product.
- The delivery report is signed and stamped and attached to the application.
- The request is stored as a record.

Who manages the foundation?
The foundation is managed by a board of professionals and people on the way to becoming professionals in different branches as stated in the constitutive document and is organized in HIVE by @zaxan.

Being a volunteer is an important step for the realization and growth of our activities.

What kind of activities are carried out?
Our foundation is oriented to the realization of activities in medical and nutritional matters, attending primarily to the elderly and children.
Do you serve nationally or only locally?
For now our activities are limited to assist people in the Cristóbal Rojas municipality of the Bolivarian state of Miranda and those who live in municipalities near our locality.
Is the FUNDACOVEN team paid?
In FUNDACOVEN we work as volunteers without any remuneration. However, every month and from now on we must have an accounting on demand for the operation of our activities which must be remunerated.
In this way, we can manage our funds more efficiently and achieve better management of them and our projects.
How does FUNDACOVEN choose where to allocate the funds in nutritional and food matters?
We prioritize those communities whose nutritional problems are most compromised. In this way, we seek to work with communities/NGOs/churches/hospitals in the area that provide our projects with greater effectiveness and sustainability.

Pues hoy les traemos un FAQ sobre el manejo de nuestras jornadas y como se presenta el trabajo:
Programa "Comidas por Sonrisas"
Comidas por Sonrisas, busca proveer a las comunidades y comedores sociales con un suministro de alimentos que sirva como medio para apoyar a niños y adultos mayores de bajos recursos ante la crisis económica/social de Venezuela, así como apoyar a trabajadores del sector hospitalario en la ingesta de alimentos ante las largas jornadas de trabajo en el área de emergencias sin contar con un suministro alimentario durante su jornada.
Proceso de gestión para el abordaje comunitario:
• La fundación visita una comunidad/ONG/iglesia/hospital para hacer una evaluación previa de la comunidad objetivo, o en su defecto una comunidad/ONG/iglesia/hospital se pone en contacto con el proyecto planteando la situación de una población especifica.
• El programa visita la comunidad en compañía del solicitante para realizar un diagnóstico participativo.
• Se recaban los testimonios de la comunidad objetivo y posibles casos de desnutrición en la misma, haciendo el llenado de una planilla con información referente.
• Se realiza una segunda visita en donde un especialista en nutrición determina la población y establece un plan alimenticio para ellos o en su defecto se recaba la data de la organización que posee un comedor establecido.
• Una vez recaudado dichos datos se procede al llenado de la Solicitud de Suministros.
• Se gestiona el caso y se procede a la recaudación.
• Una vez recaudado los recursos se hace la adquisición de materia prima para la ingesta alimenticia.
• En el caso particular del sector hospitalario, se hacen visitas con alimentos elaborados acorde al personal de emergencia en turno para su entrega.
Recaudos necesarios para la entrega de suministros:
- Copia o escaneo del documento de identidad de la persona y organización que fungirá como responsable o responsables del comedor.
- Numero de contacto y correo electrónico.
- Dirección exacta donde funcionará el comedor.
- Planilla de Solicitud de Suministros (Entregada por la fundación).
- Carta de exposición donde además se indique el número de personas a atender, los días en los que funcionará el comedor y el tipo de comidas que espera dar (desayuno, almuerzo, cena).
Consideraciones varias:
La comunidad/ONG/iglesia/hospital o sociedad civil organizada que fungirá como responsable de dicha comunidad deberá mantener contacto periódico con la fundación Corazón de Venezuela para permitir actualizaciones sobre el estatus de la comunidad, así como fotografías, videos e informaciones relevantes a la misma.
Los recursos entregados a las organizaciones se harán en forma de alimentos y nunca de manera monetaria.
La comunidad/ONG/iglesia/hospital o sociedad civil organizada que fungirá como responsable de dicha comunidad tendrá el compromiso de cumplir con lo aquí establecido.
Esta guía de trabajo puede someterse a modificaciones en cualquier momento en pro a la mejora del programa.

Programa de medicinas "Gotitas de Amor"
Mediante este programa la fundación COVEN busca brindar apoyo a la población necesitada ante el alto costo de medicinas e insumos médicos en el país, brindándoles de tal forma acceso a ellas para sus distintos tratamiento de forma totalmente gratuita.
Proceso de solicitud:
- Una persona natural se dirige a nuestra fundación y expone su caso o el de un familiar directo.
La persona presenta una carta de solicitud de donativos o de no poseerla se le es facilitada por la fundación para que sea llenada por el mismo. - La persona anexa copia del informe médico o receta médica a la solicitud.
- Se anexa copia del documento de identidad del solicitante.
Proceso de entrega:
- La fundación revisa en el inventario de nuestro banco de medicinas para constatar si esta disponible el medicamento solicitado de acuerdo a su receta médica/informe médico.
- Se procede a llenar una ficha médica con los datos del beneficiario.
- El beneficiario llena un acta de entrega indicando: Nombre y Apellido, número de documento de identidad, dirección, número de teléfono, firma y huella.
- En el acta se indican los productos entregados y la cantidad de cada uno de ellos.
- Se firma y se sella el Acta de entrega y se anexa a la solicitud.
- Se almacena la solicitud como constancia.
¿Quien dirige la fundación?
La fundación está dirigida por una directiva de profesionales o rumbo a profesionalizarse en distintas ramas según consta en el documento constitutivo y es organizada en HIVE por @zaxan.

Ser voluntario es un paso importante para la realización y crecimiento de nuestras actividades.

¿Que tipo de actividades se realizan?
Nuestra fundación está orientada a la realización de actividades en materia médica y nutricional, atendiendo a adultos mayores y niños primordialmente.
¿Atienden a nivel nacional o solo local?
Por ahora nuestras actividades están limitadas a atender personas en el municipio Cristóbal Rojas del estado Bolivariano de Miranda y a aquellas que vivan en municipio cercanos a nuestra localidad.
¿El equipo de FUNDACOVEN está remunerado?
En FUNDACOVEN trabajamos como voluntarios sin remuneración alguna. Sin embargo, cada mes y apartir de ahora debemos contar con un personal en el área de contabilidad solicitado bajo demanda para el funcionamiento de nuestras actividades el cual debe ser remunerado. De tal forma podemos gestionar nuestros fondos de forma más eficiente y lograr una mayor gestión de ellos y nuestros proyectos.
¿Cómo elige FUNDACOVEN a dónde destinar los fondos en materia nutricional y alimentaria?
Priorizamos aquellas comunidades cuyas problemáticas en materia nutricional están más comprometidas. De esta forma buscamos poder trabajar con comunidades/ONG/iglesias/hospitales en la zona que doten a nuestros proyectos de una mayor efectividad y sostenibilidad.
