Wow! Hive looks great!
My hands have been full of work, lately. I have literally been spending over 12 hours on my computer making some bucks for myself that I kinda forgot about my old friend, who got me started on this online journey. Although, It shocked me to find out there was a hard fork on Steem(it). Wow, things change in a split-second.
A glimpse of my life before the quarantine.
I stepped away from steem(it) last year in November—It was hard to do it — but I had quit my job and backed on the journey of freelancing which was difficult at the beginning, thanks be to God! later the journey turned out to be exciting. My first freelance work was to write short English sentences for Korean children; I had to write 300 short lines on various topics such as cars, travels, classroom environments, food, and many others each day. It was fun, and my work colleagues who loved talking about their cultures made it even more entertaining. It felt more like a day-to-day conversation between two people from different backgrounds.
After two months of working with my first client, I landed a second client who offered me a contract to write cryptocurrency-related blog posts for his new Wordpress website. I owe my success with that client to @starkerz, @honeybee11, and their Oracle-D team, for they trained me to craft beautiful and engaging cryptocurrency blogs when I worked with/for them on the Oracle-D project. Thank you, guys!!!
Quarantine plans for my Hive account.
The lockdown got me at my Parent's home — I feel safer here, especially that both my parents and siblings are all home so I have got a good support system. Although it gets boring at home; my freelance contracts were both paused because of the pandemic, so I literally spend 12 hours sleeping — which is not good for me.
I'm currently thinking of spending some good hours reading about the latest trends in the cryptocurrency sphere. However, I'm certain if I stay from writing about these trends then definitely it'll be hard for me to grasp the ins and outs of the crypto world. Hereafter, I'll be writing five short cryptocurrency blogs on Hive approximately 300-500 words every week; mainly on cryptocurrency news trends and market observations. Sometimes I'll also write about other topics that interest me.
I also need help. I want to refine my writing skill this quarantine, I'm thinking about buying a Udemy course, although I'm not sure yet which writing course to spend money on if my readers can recommend me a good course it will be good then.
To conclude: This is my first post on Hive and glad to be on this platform. Specifically, I'm in love with the interface and the positive energy around here. It feels like a fresh journey; I'm excited to be here.
Thanks for reading
Irene
