Good evening, @threespeak. I’m posting as an attempt at emotional therapy tonight. I bought a $160 chaise lounge off of Craigslist and with the help of @bryanpolitte, I tried to get it in the basement to my writing nook. What happened instead was getting the entire thing wedged between the stairs, wall and ceiling. It’s fucked. It’s going to have to be cut out now. A total loss, and I’m mad at myself for being so stubborn.
I shouldn’t complain too much, though. I’ve had a few weeks [one might argue the worst weeks] with a unprecedented string of good luck and good outcomes with art, and life in general. This was inevitable maybe. Distance shoots have been going really well. I never would have thought something like this was possible, or that people would actually pay for them. One day, these shoots will be a sign of the times, I’m sure.
I made shot another set of these with burlesque performer and fetish model, @dressedtokillyou. I called her and her partner, my friend @allangraves, in London. A seven hour time difference, and we tried to shoot what we could for about 45 minutes before she had a live streaming performance. Some of the images turned out and I’ll be editing them some time tomorrow. I’ll be posting them on Hive as well. Thanks for keeping up with everything.
