Had a little field trip today since the weather was nice. Visited a cave system nearby that we wanted to visit for a while now but never got the time.
The cave was known for a while and used since the Neolithic. Crude weapons and pots were found in the first chamber.
Today they hold concerts in that chamber. You can see the seating area below.
Around 1900 other chambers were uncovered. The guy the uncovered the rest of the cave followed a pidgeon further inside through a small opening and found a huge system of chambers below. Some you can enter by foot, some are only open to professional speleologists.

The acoustics are great inside. I tried them out.Awimoweh-awimoweh-awimoweh-awimoweh. 🎵😄
I can only wonder what the other visitors thought when they heard my angelic voice reverberating throughout the cave.

Theres a bit less light when we go further in because, well its a cave, its underground. The photos wont be as good.
You can see the stalactites and stalagmites everywhere.

One huge one was found on the ground where it broke up into two big pieces. Made me feel safer walking around. lol

Waifu getting herself in a few shots but it gives you a frame of reference for the size of these things.

Anyways. We went all the way to the bottom of where you were allowed to go. Spent maybe 30 minutes inside. The air at the bottom was getting heavy so we called it a day.
The temperature inside is apparently always 15 Celsius according to the guide.
Quite an interesting experience crawling underground.
