SERIES: A Girl called Jay ( Part 3)

Day after Day, Jay kept playing with Stone, a beautiful dog she met at B’s House where at this point, she had lived for 2 weeks. After the First week of staying with B and her Man, Jay had become so lonely that a Dog became her Friend and companion. Apparently, B was not quite okay with a lot of things and refused to communicate with Jay, Jay on the other hand, had done everything humanly Right since she went to live with them, just so they would be no complain that’d make them ask her to leave.

One day, while Jay was sitting outside playing with Stone, the dog, a young man walked from the back of the building calling out the dog’s name asking him to come home. Jay had always thought this Dog was just for security purpose at the compound, she never knew Stone belonged to a particular neighbor who she had never seen before except that he was standing in front of her at that moment, looking lustfully at her and smiling hard

‘Oh, who is this beautiful girl in my compound and how come I have never seen you? Did you just move in? the young man asked as he extends his hands for what seemed more like a hand massage instead of a handshake

“Yes, I live with B, I have been here over a week” Jay replied as she quickly retrieved her hand from his.
From that moment on, Kay, the dog owner never left Jay alone, he brought gifts to their doorstep, he sent love notes through the dog, he waited outside for Jay to return from work, he did everything else but heed to her plea to let her be. Well, Jay couldn’t deny being swept off her feet by all the romantic things Kay had been doing, but she didn’t want to disrespect the people she lived with.

Weeks had passed, Jay had not been paid her first salary yet, she was financially broke and B on the other hand too was, they were no food at home and after starving back-to-back, Jay had developed symptoms of Ulcer.
This Situation led her closer to Kay, who could read the whole thing like a book. Kay would order food for Jay even without her asking, and if you are a woman, you know how good that feels.

As Jay and Kay got closer as friends, B became more pissed, and gave Jay colder attitude at home. B’s Boyfriend couldn’t understand why B was acting that way, and he did not support her behavior towards Jay, so one day, he called B and asked her what the problem was, she explained she just doesn’t like Kay, and she does not want anyone in her house to have anything to do with Him. Kay had a wild life and was easily misunderstood but, he was a kind and Real man.

Jay tried to talk to B, explaining she had nothing intimate with Kay, she went on to show their conversations on social media as proof that they were just friends, and that Kay was just being Nice to her, but B wouldn’t listen to her, B started calling Jay a prostitute and spreading gossips around the building, saying false things. Jay was hurt, but what would a homeless girl do? She kept cool to avoid problems and even started avoiding Kay, all for the sake of Peace.

B’s Boyfriend was not comfortable with how B was treating Jay, so he confronted her and asked her to stop

“Let the girl be, for Crying out loud, she is not a child that you can push around to do what pleases you. She has told you she has nothing to do with the guy, can you let her be and stop this nonsense babe” Jay heard B’S boyfriend shouting from the room.

“I see, everyone seems to have her side, how am I sure you are not developing feelings for her” B shouted back

Jay was at the living room panting and praying to God that it will all end, she didn’t want B to ask her to leave. Her prayer and thoughts were interrupted by the bang of a door, it was B, coming out from her room angrily

“Pack your things and leave My house, you idiot” B said to Jay, who was standing there dumbfounded

Jay tried to apologize and plead for mercy but as she was about to kneel down, angry B pushed her and started pulling her hair, tearing her clothes and spitting out the meanest words at the top of her voice, her boyfriend came and dragged her away from Jay who at that point was bleeding from her Nose due to the collision of her head against the wall as B pushed her.

Jay dragged her almost Naked self-outside helplessly, only to Find all the neighbors outside starring at the apartment to know what was happening.

What could be more embarrassing and traumatic for a young girl like this who did nothing wrong but want a better life?

Amongst the neighbors outside, was kay who was so confused seeing Jay like that, he walked up to her to ask what was happening but Jay busted into tears and couldn’t say a word.

Apart from the embarrassment, the state Government had announced the commencement of a lockdown that was effective that evening, so Jay wondered…
“Where do I go, God”
“What life is this”
“Where exactly do I go”

We Will find out in the next Part, Anticipate. Jay’s Life just got more interesting.
