Greetings hivers/friends,
Please allow me to introduce myself to this wonderful community. 🙏 My name is Marie Ejeh, and I'm really delighted to be here amongst you all with the user name @mariehayes.
I'm from the beautiful region of the north central part of Nigeria, however, I was born in the southern part of Nigeria, in other words, I'm connected to both regions 😊.
I'm 23 years old, I am currently a student from Federal University Lafia. As most people know, it's not easy to be a student in a country like Nigeria, with the harsh economic crisis we are facing now as a nation. It's a path filled with a whole lot of challenges but I'm eager to learn and grow and also to get my degree in style. 😅
On the other hand I derive great pleasure in listening to good music,it gives me joy and relaxation in my soul 😊(though I'm not so much a good singer) 🤣🤣 from the sweet melodious sounds of different genres of music to nice beats, I'm a beat lover that's because I'm not more of a bad dancer. 😅😅
Aside my love for music and dancing, I have a deep passion for nature and also photography ( nature photography) I love taking pictures of every beautiful thing I set my eyes on. The beauty of nature brings me immense joy I must say, I will definitely love to exchange some tips and stories with you guys.
I should also mention my love for animals, can someone love nature without loving animals??? I guess no .... I'm a proud owner of a beautiful cat, I once had a dog but unfortunately he passed on.😔💖
I love the bond between animals and humans, I get so happy when I see such affection in display. From the loyalty of dogs to masters and the independence and clinginess of cats (just like mine🤣🥰) I just love to see animals around, they give life a different kind of meaning and beauty and I really do love Life itself so much. Everyday is a gift, and I cherish every moment of it because I believe that when there's life there's hope, and when there's hope all things are possible. As a matter of fact everyday is meant to connect and discover life more and more.
Oops! did I almost forget to say I love FOOD? 🤣 no way..... I love food a lot, and I love cooking and trying out any new recipe I come across.
FOOD IS LIFE 🥰
Although I'm an introvert, I'm willing to break out of my little shell and interact with more people on this space. Engaging, sharing experiences and of course building connection in this wonderful #hive world.
One of my greatest excitements about joining this great community is that I'd also have the chance to learn about other people's cultures and world views. I know I'd definitely learn a lot here and I'm happy I was introduced here by a great teacher and friend @onos-f who told me beautiful things about this platform. I hope to share in the beauties found in the hive world ☺

Woah! Zoology. That must be tough. I majored in Politics and English Literature and I remember that my friends who were studying Biology (I don't think we had a Zoology dept.) had to work much harder than me, with lots of exams every term.
What attracted you to Zoology?
Wow that's nice... @hirohurl Well I wasn't really attracted to the course the school gave me that on their own will.. so I have to learn to love it

I look forward to seeing what you have for us, I'm also a lover of nature, but not that much attracted to animals, I don't hate them though but don't own one. I prefer plants, green environment and so on.
I like animals though but guess not as much as you do.
