Introduce Myself: Everything Is Mind [ENG/ESP]

Hello, dear Hivian. I hope you're very well!

I have spent a few weeks going around here and there within the platform, getting to know it more in depth, and interacting a bit with the community.

I've noticed that since its birth, Hive has grown a lot in terms of communities and variety of topics.

Specifically, I'm interested in topics such as online business, technology, and alternative health, but there's one topic that's just as interesting, and I don't see many people talking about it here: the mind.

So since this is a topic I'm really passionate about, I decided to start writing about it.

Welcome to my first post on Hive!

Hola, estimado Hiviano. ¡Espero que estés muy bien!

Tengo algunas semanas dando vueltas por aquí y por allá dentro de la plataforma, conociéndola más a fondo e interactuando un poco con la comunidad.

He notado que desde su nacimiento, Hive ha crecido bastante en cuanto a comunidades y variedad de temas.

Específicamente, me interesan temas como los negocios en línea, la tecnología y la salud alternativa, pero hay un tema que es igual de interesante y la verdad no veo a mucha gente hablando de eso aquí: la mente.

Así que, ya que este tema realmente me apasiona, decidí comenzar a escribir sobre el mismo.

Hive is not my first contact with cryptocurrencies. I’ve always been a tech enthusiast, so I always try to keep up with the latest technology trends.

But also, I have always closely followed scientific research and advances related to the brain, mind, and consciousness, and from my point of view, this is much more fascinating and impactful.

I’m a firm believer that the last frontier that human beings must conquer is not robotics, nor the ocean, nor space.

It is the mind.

I believe the mind is the greatest force, and human beings should do more of our part to explore all the possibilities that our mind (or our brain, if you prefer) offers us.

After all, individuals are mind (or consciousness), and the mind is the first tool we should consider when looking for solutions to our problems.

Today, this is more important than ever, especially because of the fast development that artificial intelligence (AI) is showing all over the world.

I have nothing against AI. In fact, I find it to be a very useful tool when used in the right way. Also, its presence in our lives is basically inevitable.

However, we cannot lag behind AI or become too dependent on it.

In my opinion, this is only possible if we learn to use our mental resources the right way, as much as possible. In this sense: Is technology an end in itself or just a means to help us achieve a goal?

Today, many think that the next step in human evolution is the fusion of our bodies and minds with technology.

Hive no es mi primer contacto con las criptomonedas. Siempre he sido un entusiasta de la tecnología, por lo que trato de mantenerme siempre al día con las últimas tendencias tecnológicas.

Pero además, siempre he seguido de cerca las investigaciones y los avances científicos relacionados con el cerebro, la mente y la conciencia, y desde mi punto de vista, esto es mucho más fascinante e impactante.

"Soy un firme creyente de que la última frontera que el ser humano debe conquistar no es la robótica, ni el océano, ni el espacio".

Es la mente.

Creo que la mente es la fuerza más grande, y que los seres humanos deberíamos poner más de nuestra parte en explorar todas las posibilidades que nuestra mente (o nuestro cerebro, si prefieres) nos ofrece.

Al fin y al cabo, los individuos somos mente (o conciencia), y es la mente la primera herramienta que deberíamos considerar a la hora de buscar soluciones a nuestros problemas.

Hoy en día, esto es más importante que nunca, especialmente por el rápido desarrollo que la inteligencia artificial (IA) está mostrando en todo el mundo.

No tengo nada en contra de la IA. De hecho, creo que es una herramienta muy útil cuando se usa de la manera correcta. Además, su presencia en nuestras vidas es básicamente, inevitable.

Sin embargo, no podemos quedarnos por detrás de la IA, ni volvernos demasiado dependientes de ella.

En mi opinión, esto solo es posible si aprendemos a utilizar nuestros recursos mentales de la manera correcta, tanto como sea posible.

En este sentido, ¿es la tecnología un fin en sí misma o simplemente un medio para ayudarnos a alcanzar un objetivo?

Hoy, muchos piensan que el próximo paso en la evolución humana es la fusión de nuestros cuerpos y mentes con la tecnología.

However, I also believe that technology can help us get there much faster.

That said, I decided to start this blog project on this platform because I see Hive as one of the few blockchains that really makes sense of the idea behind cryptocurrencies.

On this blog, I’ll write, from my particular perspective, about the mind in all its nuances.

That means I’ll talk about:

• Philosophy

• Strategy

• Psychology

• Neuroscience

• Quantum mechanics

• Mental disciplines

• Parapsychology/metaphysics

I'll also cover news and other topics related to the mind in a kind of blend of ideas and concepts that I hope will be interesting to read.

I’ll write about how these disciplines combine and explore how we can use our minds to improve our lives in every aspect: economy, health, relationships, and spirituality.

"I’m not a professional in psychology or any other similar profession; I work in the IT industry. That means I’ll talk about the topics I already mentioned based on my opinion and personal experience."

My initial intention is to educate and arouse the curiosity of my readers about the "possibilities within reach of their thoughts” (never better said) to motivate them to give more emphasis to the use of their mental resources.

I still haven't decided on the name of this blog, but this is just the tip of the iceberg of a larger project I’ll refer to by its code name:

The psyX project.

I won't go into much detail about psyX at the moment as it's too early for that, but you can guess that it relates to mind and technology. This is nothing new.

For example:

Biofeedback has been with us for years. Thanks to this, today we have Brain Computer Interfaces (BCIs), which have been widely used in medicine for decades.

Elon Musk is also trying to improve the capabilities of the human mind with his Neuralink project.

Dicho esto, decidí comenzar este proyecto de blog en esta plataforma porque veo a Hive como una de las pocas blockchains que realmente dan sentido a la idea detrás de las criptomonedas.

En este blog escribiré, desde mi particular perspectiva, sobre la mente en todos sus matices.

Eso significa que hablaré de:

• Filosofía

• Estrategia

• Psicología

• Neurociencia

• Mecánica cuántica

• Disciplinas mentales

• Parapsicología/metafísica

También tocaré noticias y otros temas relacionados con la mente en una especie de mezcla de ideas y conceptos que espero resulte interesante de leer.

Escribiré sobre cómo se combinan estas disciplinas y exploraré las formas en que podemos usar nuestras mentes para mejorar nuestras vidas en todos los aspectos: economía, salud, relaciones y espiritualidad.

No soy profesional de la psicología ni de ninguna otra profesión similar; trabajo en la industria del software. Esto quiere decir que hablaré sobre los temas ya mencionados en base a mi opinión y experiencia personal.

Mi intención inicial es educar y despertar la curiosidad de mis lectores sobre las “posibilidades al alcance de sus pensamientos” (nunca mejor dicho) para motivarlos a darle más énfasis al uso de sus recursos mentales.

Todavía no he decidido el nombre de este blog, pero esto es solo la punta del iceberg de un proyecto más grande al que me referiré por su nombre clave:

Proyecto psyX.

No entraré en muchos detalles sobre psyX en este momento, ya que es demasiado pronto para eso, pero puedes adivinar que se relaciona con la mente y la tecnología. Esto no es nada nuevo.

Por ejemplo:

El biofeedback ha estado entre nosotros durante años. Gracias a esto, hoy en día existen las “Interfaces Cerebro Computadora” (ICC), que han sido ampliamente utilizadas en la medicina durante décadas.

Elon Musk también está intentando mejorar las capacidades de la mente humana con su proyecto Neuralink.

Also, in different parts of the world, there are several similar research and development projects, and it seems that every year, more and more scientists, philosophers, and mystics join this movement.

On the other hand, almost during my entire life, I have witnessed firsthand many situations that involve the mind (the psy factor) and that have no apparent "logical" explanation—and probably you’ve had similar experiences too.

I've spent some time working on this project (years), learning, conceptualizing, and organizing a lot of things, and I feel like I'm just getting started!

Además, en diferentes partes del mundo, hay varios proyectos similares de investigación y desarrollo, y parece que cada año, más y más científicos, filósofos y místicos se unen a este movimiento.

Por otro lado, durante casi toda mi vida, he sido testigo directo de muchas situaciones que involucran la mente (el factor psy) y que no tienen una explicación "lógica" aparente (y quizás tú también hayas tenido experiencias similares en algún momento de tu vida).

Tengo algún tiempo trabajando en este proyecto (años), aprendiendo, conceptualizando y organizando un montón de cosas, ¡y siento que apenas estoy comenzando!

Regarding myself, my name is Luis. I’m 40 years old and work in the IT industry. I’m from Venezuela, but I frequently move between Latin American countries.

I’m quite self-taught and have learned many of the things I know on my own.

Although professionally I focused on the IT industry, I have always kept learning in a self-taught way, and in parallel to my work, everything related to the sciences of the mind.

On the other hand, I also have decades of martial arts training. Thanks to this discipline, I had my first contact with meditation and other mental disciplines such as Qigong. From there, my interest in these topics began.

En cuanto a mí, me llamo Luis. Tengo 40 años y trabajo en la industria de TI. Soy de Venezuela, pero me muevo frecuentemente entre países latinoamericanos.

Soy bastante autodidacta y muchas de las cosas que sé las he aprendido por mi cuenta.

Aunque profesionalmente me enfoqué en la industria de TI, siempre me he mantenido aprendiendo de manera autodidacta, y en paralelo a mi trabajo, todo lo relacionado con las ciencias de la mente.

Por otro lado, también tengo décadas entrenando en artes marciales. Gracias a esta disciplina tuve mi primer contacto con la meditación y otras disciplinas mentales como el Qigong. A partir de ahí, comenzó mi interés por estos temas.
