hello Hivers
During practicals today,we were thought about diseases that affect tomatoes plants resulting to low production.preventive measures where also given but today we will be talking about the diseases and their pathogens.

early Blight diseaseThis appears as bulls-eye-shape spots on leaves and the tissue turn yellow which eventually infects the growth of the plant.the pathogen lives in the soil,it can be prevented with Bacillus or copper which helps stop the disease.

Fuscrium Wilt:the pathogen responsible for it is called Fusarium Oxysporum. When the effect takes place, dropping of leafs occur and decay of stems sometimes even an entire branch gets distroyed until the whole plant collapses.pathogens like this are passed through water, instruments, animals and even humans.when it strikes, there's little you can do to control it so just focus on preventing measures.

Late Blight diseases: It's among the most destructive tomatoes plant and it caused by Phytophagous Infestans and it's not very common because it doesn't survive freezing temperature without a host. the fungus occur on top most leaves, sterm then eventually black and slimy.once late Blight occurs, there is nothing to be done take the infected plants into bags and throw away to stop spreading and effect on humans.
Thank you and stick around for the preventing measures.
