Blogging Requires Patience: Be A Patient Blogger!

in OCD4 years ago

One of our basic problems is that we want instant results. We show this tendency everywhere; whether it is business, study, or learning something new. But we should keep in mind that no one becomes famous in one day or no organization becomes a brand in one day.

Patience is like a tree full of spikes. But the fruits are very sweet and tasty, and you have to climb to the top to eat that fruit. If you hurry to taste than you may hurt yourself badly. It's not stupid to dream to be a millionaire within a short time. But it's silly to try to be a millionaire overnight.

Patience is a great virtue. Which is not the same for everyone. My patience level is very low. But still, I managed to earn some bucks from Hive Blog. I really don't know how this happened but I am happy with my blogging career on Hive. With Hive my dream is big, but I am not dreaming to be a whale overnight. I am trying to post on a regular basis and increasing my Hive Power slowly.

Many people think that - Wow, how easy it is to make money with Hive! I can earn such a good amount of money by minimum effort. Then after few days, they realize the fact. As no spamming, no copy-pasting, no plagiarizing is allowed here, most feel hopeless and leave the platform with broke heart. Only a few percent of bloggers remain who have actual talents and dedication.

Honestly, I tried many shortcuts to go to the top so fast. But the result was devastating. I tried some spamming ways to get more rewards and got flagged by Hive watcher! And after being flagged for a long time I realized that there is no shortcut for success. You have to earn it by your talent, by having patience.

If you already roamed to my profile you noticed that I have posted some animated videos on Hive and SEO. Most of the people just think that it's easy money, just creating a video and earning money!

But the fact is I have to spend an average of 3-5 hours for every video. I have to design, I have to plan and which need lots of patience. And some of my videos got very poor attention, but I didn't give up!

I'm not really praising myself. I am just trying to spread the message to newbies that - There's no shortcut. You'll see lots of artworks which got a very good payout. But you never know the dedication and time that the artist gave for that art.

The main challenge is not to earn money in your first day after seeing the success of others, but to increase your personality and uniqueness. If you can't afford it, how do you think you could be a successful blogger? You won't earn on your first video on YouTube, you will earn from Google AdSense after publishing a tons of articles on your blog.

But here in Hive, you can start earning from day 1 actually. So, show some patience and forget to grab everything on day 1. Just be yourself, show your best works and forget about post rewards. Rewards will come sooner or later for sure.

There're some unique and proven ways to increase patience which I follow to become a better blogger, actually to become a better person.

  • Keep yourself free from stress, anxiety, and frustration. Your time will come, so keep posting.
Be confident. If you know what you're doing, just do it.

  • Think about time before making any decision. Don't waste your time on useless things.

  • Think more about the outcomes of past impatience. Then you won't do the same mistakes again.

  • Read the biographies of famous intellectuals, learn more about the benefits of patience. I do this a lot to boost up my mental energy.

  • Read more books. Bill Gates to Warren Buffet, Elon Musk to Mark Zuckerberg, everyone spare some time daily to read books. So why not you?

  • Meditate! I don't do this actually, but it's proven scientifically that meditation helps to increase patience.

  • Exercise regularly to stay fit, stay healthy, and keep your mind fresh. As like meditation, physical exercise helps to enhance endurance.

  • Think positive, always! Recently I wrote an article on positive attitude and how a positive attitude can help you in your life.

  • Save this list, if possible write on sticky note and place on your table so that every time you see it while working or blogging.

Patience is the first element of success. Don't be discouraged if you fail.
Give time, be patient, surely something good will happen!

Thanks for raising all fine points in this article. As in most things in life, blogging requires patience.

Really. You're right. Success does not come on the first day in any area. Perseverance in the right direction is necessary. Thanks for the advice.
