Hobbies and Interests

in OCD4 years ago

Everybody has hobbies which we love talking about them. Hobbies could as well be passions.

Speaking of my hobby, I have many of it but the hobby I love the most is PLAYING MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS. I started playing the bass guitar since my high school days, that was about 7 years ago. Actually, I started with the piano which I stopped at some point because I felt it was broad and would take some more time till i have to become an intermediate player to stand alone.

With every potential hobbies, why music??
Playing music helps with creativity, analytical skills, language, and many more.
It’s a great investment in your long-term hobbie. When you learn to play an instrument, you’re developing a skill that you can enjoy for the rest of your life. Unlike other hobbies, you’ll never age out of playing your favourite musical instrument.

What are the benefits of your hobby??
Playing a musical instrument offers many benefits to make it a worthwhile hobby.

  1. It expands your memory capacity: If you learn how to play an instrument, the parts of your brain that control skills like hearing, storing audio information, and memory actually grow and become more active.
  2. Helps to organise and manage your time wisely: A good musician knows that the quality of practice time is more valuable than the quantity. In order to progress to an advancement, he/she will learn how to organize a practice time and plan different challenges to work on, making efficient use of time.
  3. Boosts your team skills: Playing an instrument requires you to work with others to make good music. For instance In a band, you must learn how to cooperate with the people around you. Also, each player must learn how to listen to each other and play together in order to produce beautiful music.
  4. Enhances your concentration:Playing music requires you to concentrate on things like progressions, rhythm, tempo, and quality of sound. Playing in a group involves more concentration because you must learn to listen with the rest of the group/band members and play in harmony.

Thanks for reading through. I would like to get view of this from everyone and would so much appreciate if you share them with me in the comment section.
