Call it art or DYI, one of my dreams is to have the money and time to spend one year building my own tiny house. I love the idea of building my own place, maybe with some help but actually being completely involved in the process. There are many skills involved in the process and that is why I would need some help from technicians, but just the idea of learning all the skills needed and actually putting them into practice is an idea love and I hope it can become true someday.
I don't know if I would end up living there or just spend some time of the year, not sure my wife would like that idea 😂 , but that's a different story.
It has been quite a journey so far and I have enjoyed many parts of the process, some more than others :)
Having the time is a big part of this. There are some parts I "should" have learned, but I also have two jobs and a four year old, time is limited.
a summer place or a little cabin in the woods near the lake or sea... sounds pretty great.
