Times when every day I discovered something new and interesting for myself, too. Times when my soul and heart traveled through the expanses of HIVE and I enjoyed reading your publications. After our family moved to Slovakia, time became sorely lacking. Work-home-work. But still, sometimes before going to bed I come here at least for a moment.

Today I had a free minute at work. And my fingers involuntarily began to write this publication for you. A lot has happened in our family during my absence here. I can’t tell everything in one story. This would be a very long story. I'll tell you about my autumn. And about my cats.

In one of my publications a couple of years ago, I told you about our new family member. It was a black cat named Villain. Our neighbors gave him his name because our cat would visit their dog and steal his food. We loved our cat very much. And our neighbors loved him too.

Grandfather Lyudovit and grandmother Helena (our neighbors) placed a chair with a soft cushion on their veranda so that our cat could bask in the sun there. So we lived happily. Two years later, we decided to give a home to another cat. This is a very beautiful cat. When he was little, he looked very much like a tiger, only gray. We named the gray cat Bandit.

The Bandit and the Villain did not become friends right away. But then they became very inseparable. The older cat taught the bandit to catch mice and birds in our yard. Sometimes the older cat would bring him a caught bird straight into the house. That's how we lived. Me and my cats. My crazy love for my cats pushed absolutely everything into the background.

This September the Villain would have turned three years old. But this did not happen. My beloved cat went to the rainbow. He was hit by a car this summer. He went for a walk and never returned. We found his body on the side of the road. We buried our beloved one in our yard. Now he will always be at home and in our hearts.

Bandit (this is the second gray cat) turned one this year. After Villain's death, we decided to adopt another cat from the shelter. In memory of the Villain, we adopted a black cat named Burek. He is only 5 months old. Burek and Bandit became friends quickly enough. The older cat fell in love with Burek very much. He teaches him to wash himself and plays with him a lot.

This is my first autumn after the death of the Villain. I miss him very much. This was the first cat in my life that I adopted myself and brought into my home. We slept together, ate, sat outside in the sun. Every day when I pass by the tree where he is buried, I remember him. The bitterness and pain have not yet passed after his loss. My autumn. A little sad.

I'll take a blanket and go outside into the yard. Wrapping myself in a warm blanket, I will watch my very young cats Bandit and Burek play with autumn leaves. And with sadness I will tell the Villain that we miss him very much. Run on the rainbow my favorite Villain. You are forever in my heart.

Villian looks like such a cute cat, even though I'm not a cat fan! Did you ever find the driver that sent him to the rainbow?
By the way, did you know there's a Caturday community in Hive where you can post about your cats? Or there's even a Hive Memorial Forest community for similar posts. The OCD community should only be used when there are no other suitable niche communities. Thanks
