I bet you have a lot of incoming travel posts as you have been so well travelled. I'm running out of travel posts so I need to travel soon.
I would rather spend on creating memories than to spend on material things. Most of my money goes to travel. I'm not regretting anything though. Most of my peers are now building a house, a family of their own, or buying a car. Meanwhile, I'm still figuring out on what to do. I just want to travel - that's one thing I'm certain.
Exactly,expensive as it may,it's worth it. We see it the same way. We want to capitalize on experiences. Seeing how my daughter is growing up having been bitten by the travel bug makes me happy. We didn't really invest in building a house. We are renting for now. Of course it's still a dream to have one someday. But we want to continue traveling and wouldn't want to be tied down paying a mortgage. We haven't made any travel plans this year. I guess we will see how things go.
Your daughter is so blessed to have parents who are avid travellers. I was the only one in the family who value travel more than anything else. My mother would always nag at me that I kept on travelling when I say that I don't have money.
