RE: The lost magical place - LMAC 75

My dear talented friend,
I remember a collage you did some time ago, where hikers were traipsing all over the forest, leaving garbage behind.

Your story and your picture are an elegy for nature. I could read a thousand essays about conservation, but none would be so effective as this symbolic post.

Great work. Great art.

Thank you very much. :-)

Yes, the subject concerns me a lot. I'm out a lot and like to go hiking myself. So I have to constantly see how nature is treated.
At the weekend I was hiking in the "Pfälzer Wald" (southwest Germany) with my wife and friends. We immediately noticed all the garbage everywhere.

We were there a while ago and found a lot of garbage back then too. But this time it was a lot more, even far away from the pathes. And it was so loud. People were shouting, running, biking everywhere... We even met one who carried a boom box on his shoulder, in the middle of the forest. But no birds could be heard anywhere.
Because of the Corona measures, more and more german people are spending their free time in the forests, while almost no other leisure activity is possible. However, many who were at amusement parks with their families at other times now behave in the forest as in the amusement parks.

It seems like I've somehow processed it into my collage. xD
