Most of the struggles that many people are into is because they have not been keen to follow certain laws. For example, the law that governs planting is very simple: for you to have harvest, you must have sown some seeds first. In the same way, many other aspects of human endeavor have their various laws that govern them and it is in keeping them that success comes.
You need to be obedient to follow the demands and provisions of the laws in the area you are engaging in for you to enjoy the benefits in it. However, your obedience needs to be total and absolute for it to count as obedience. It is worthy to note that when an obedience is either delayed or not complete, it can be seen as disobedience.
Delaying an act of obedience carries the same consequences as not obeying at all. Most times, the instructions that will change your life will come in a manner you may not anticipate, so you need sensitivity to understand when such instructions come and you also need meekness and humility to be able to observe and do them.
I remember a particular time, I needed something to get done and I had tried to the best of my knowledge and it did not seem to work. I quickly remembered a friend of mind that has done similar thing and succeeded, so I called him. When I called and explained to him, he gave me some very short and precise instructions to follow and I did. Amazingly, I got the thing done in minutes.
If I had not followed his instructions (because he was way younger than me) I may have still be stuck in that thing. Knowledge of what to do is one thing but the main thing is doing that thing. A point will come when you realize that having knowledge alone without putting it to practice will not profit you anything.
Imagine a farmer that knows all the laws of planting but has not obeyed anyone, his struggles will be multiplied. Note this:
Hard work does not replace obedience to instruction
As a matter of fact, there are some instructions you will follow and they will override the need for you to labour hard and they will make everything easy for you.
The reason electrical and electronic gadgets come with user manual is to point you to the right direction of the instructions to follow so as to maximize your experience with the gadget. In the same way, in your field of endeavor you need to find someone that has gone ahead with evidential results and follow their precepts to arrive at their own result. Always remember that when you follow procedures and laws, you will get the required result.
