Friedrich Wilhelm Zachow, Jesu der du meine Seele (LV 6)

Zachow's prelude to "Jesu, der du meine Seele" is setup as a short double fugue on the first phrase of the choral melody and a free counter subject. The counterpoint shows Zachow's craftmanship, and the result is a nice choral prelude, just not a very memorable one.

The recording was done with the Hauptwerk software and the sampleset, made by Sonus Paradisi, of the Hinsz organ in the Reformed church in the Midwolda (https://www.sonusparadisi.cz/en/organs/netherlands/midwolda-surround-sample-set.html).

Even though I don't understand your language, your style of music is very beautiful and you play the piano very nicely and pick up a lot of new tunes every day. I really like to listen to such music in solitude. I always like your music very much.

I probably take knowledge of technical musical theory a bit too much for granted. Sorry, for that!

Hhah it's too good for listening of my site
