I Never Expected My Easter To End In Such Way

Every year Easter has always been a special time for my family at large. Filled with church programs, fellowship and it also allow us the time to reflect on the significants of Christ dead and resurrection.

This year Easter holiday went as not expected and also went as expected which I was involved in a program, visiting my pastors house, falling and sick at the end.

My Easter holiday started with series of programs.I so much love how other churches organized a play on the crucifixion of Jesus. But my church didn't do that for reasons I don't know.

After good Friday service I rushed back home to change then rushed to a different program in the ministry I attend which was tagged "though art inexcusable". Oh yes every individual here on earth doesn't have an excuse not to succeed, if you know succeed na you do yourself, hahaha that's on a lighter note. Before I diverted. The program ran through till Saturday evening,

During the cause of the program on Saturday evening being 30/03/2024 at about 3pm, I felt really unwell, what started as a minor headache resulted to fiver, at some point I was reluctant about it. Suddenly it became worse on Sunday being Easter day to the extend I was not able to attend Easter service in church.

At some point I felt relief without taking any drugs so I went to my Pastors house that same Sunday afternoon, reaching there I wasn't able to discuss anything with him or tell him how I was feeling at the moment.

I know you will ask why didn't I tell him I wasn't feeling unwell so he could pray for me... But to be frank am not the type of guy that goes around telling people my problem no matter what.

I stayed there for some hours but nahhh the health challenge was just getting worse than expected. So I placed a call through to my cousin brother to help me get my clinic hand card once he hears the sound of my bike he should just come out and escort me to the clinic which he did as instructed.

Reaching the clinic it was this fine nurse that attended to be.. normally I don't like lady's attending to me, but omoh my body was on fire.

She greeted my politely stretching her hands to receive my folder (Hospital File) from me. The greeting wasn't my concern at that moment, my own was for her to perform some magic so I could feel Abit better.

After checking my vitals she the asked me some questions and I gave her the answers she needed.

What's wrong with you sir?

Seeing how beautiful she was I decided to form small first😂

Ummm just headache, cold and stomach ache

Since when?

Since Saturday but the stomach ache started early this afternoon

She then sigh and said "Oh I see"

But what stopped you from coming to the hospital since Saturday or early this morning?

I became mute first and in my mind I was like madam do make I go home abeg because it was late already.

She then prescribe some drugs for me and it was time for her to inject me she went into a room and called me. I smiled at my cousin brother and followed her.

She was like remove your trouser and turn
Me that don't like injection on my bombom🤧
I form first before turn and she politely asked.
Ogah hope say you no dey fear injection
I kept quiet without giving her an answer.

She then asked me to go back to the hospital the next day and run some text and I said thank you with a smile and left. Even though something in my mind was telling me to collect ask her of her name and contact but I gave it a deaf ear and left.

The next day I was reluctant to go to the hospital for the test. I left home few minutes to 4pm reaching the hospital I was asked to come back the next day for the test I was angry but at some point I controlled myself and left the hospital.

I did as instructed and went back to the hospital for the test, when the test results came out behold I was found with Hepatitis B.

Doctors weren't on sit so I was asked to come back on Wednesday I went back on Wednesday and I was still asked to go back to the hospital next week Monday, here I am still waiting patiently for next week Monday so I can go back to the hospital.

Or though my Easter holiday didn't run out as expected but yet I cherished every memories I had during the church programs and yes I strongly believe that I will feel better some day.
