It is with tremendous excitement and gratitude that I can share the takeover ceremony and successful launch of the 21st Hive Borehole that has just been finalised and commissioned in Asomanya, an active community in Ghana. This is another fantastic milestone pushing ahead to create access to safe and clean drinking water for underserved communities in partnership with blockchain and social action.

The ceremony was a beautiful and emotional event full of excitement, hope, and immeasurable joy and gratitude from the people of Asomanya. Community leaders, elders, and residents participated in significant attendance to witness in anticipation the moment the borehole was officially taken over, and the joy on their faces gave us a reminder why we are here to be doing this important work of access to clean, safe drinking water for communities. The attendance and participation clearly indicated just how much this borehole and project meant to them.

The newly completed borehole is so much more than a source of water; it is a lifeline. For so many years the people of Asomanya have had to struggle to find clean, safe, and reliable water. With this borehole project completed and approved as an official community asset, the entire community no longer needed to be concerned with the burden of getting water from as far away as possible. Students will now have more hours to remain at school, and families will have better hygiene and health conditions.

This water project is going to be impacting the people of Asomanya in many meaningful ways. It will reduce people's exposure to waterborne diseases, alleviate the burden placed on women and children who are typically responsible for getting water, improve sanitation in the context at home and in public and have a significant effect in schools. Clean water is the foundation to build a healthy community. We are so proud to be part of it.

One of the most exciting features at the ceremony was the overwhelming enthusiasm and support exhibited with the community turnout. Community leaders, schoolchildren, and even supporting district-level people all came together as one to take part in rejoicing in the accomplishment of the borehole. The intensity of their interest and appreciation confirmed to us that the borehole was presenting renewed hope and hope for increased confidence in their own development.

We cannot say enough about the Hive blockchain and each supporter who has made this project a success. If there is anything we have repeated that is worth repeating in our journey in delivering this project together, it is that we are ever so thankful for all the contributions, shares, likes, comments, and most importantly, belief in the vision.

As we mentioned previously, we will still provide project updates on the ongoing impact of the projects to everyone involved. The activities and outcome of Asomanya continue to challenge and inspire us to keep pushing forward to create, make and document change in more communities in need and work on providing proof that change can take seed when communities and people come forward together.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and continues to support us for the Hive Borehole Project. And always remember that we are not just drilling boreholes; we are restoring dignity, saving lives, and strengthening communities.
