An unforgettable experience.

My journey to Ghana was joyful and filled with many memories that I would want to connect, particularly the several trips I made to the different villages and towns that have benefited from the hive borehole project that I built a year ago. Every time I visited the boreholes, I was greatly impressed by these communities.

The very last community we visited, called Wadie Adumakase, which is not different from the many other communities, showed a real sense of joy and excitement, knowing we gave them the water that feeds the entire community. They are good people with so much happiness, irrespective of the various challenges they face.

These inhabitants of the communities are full of laughter, and I believe it is what keeps them going. They smile at everyone they meet, which is a good thing to do. There is this kind of energy in Ghanaians that rains throughout every moment of their lives. Every single community I visited showed all these, but Wadie Adumakase, the last community, made it different.

There is no competition in their lives, and everyone is used to supporting each other. The compassion these people have is a tremendous one to talk about. There is a positive attitude that every single member of these communities has, which makes me excited.

One of the most exciting moments for me was when we were led on an adventure by the chief of Agona Bedomase, a village that has also gotten the borehole. This chief led us into the jungle to show us where they used to obtain water before the hive borehole. It is a forest of extremely dangerous locations for women and children to walk through. The running river underneath the bush that they retrieved was unfit for human consumption.

Our climb up the slopes from the forest was really difficult for us. This made me think about how mothers and children climbed this steep slope every day, carrying a bucket on their heads. This explains their excitement at receiving clean drinking water from the hive for free.

There were several methods to demonstrate gratitude. The walk to the location where the dried cocoa beans were kept felt pleasant. The individuals demonstrated how they dried the cocoa beans. One of the major crops these villages raise to support their families and themselves is cocoa. Additionally, the cultivation of cocoa beans generates enormous income for Ghana as a nation.

And despite everything, they never stop showing how happy they are to have a better life. These provided us with a wealth of other experiences and enthusiasm as we got to know the people and their daily lives. It felt quite good to be back in Ghana after a long absence.

I am sure that a lot can be learned from the people of Ghana, Above all, as living in community, everyone is supportive, helps each other and at the same time is happy with what they do.

It is nice to see these happy faces. You are doing a great work, bless you!

Wow, I love those smiling faces, they are expressing gratitude in their actions as well, glad to see that.

Wait! They consumed the muddy water??? Im curious, does the borehole operate on electricity?

Yes, but it is under construction. Check the completed projects to see how things work.

Ok... Thanks

Hive has really touched the lives of many positively, communities like that will never forget the platform.
