I feel kinda bad to write on this topic but at the same time, I'm glad I found a topic I could vent through and hopefully learn to cope with the hurt I got on this regard. We never know when we'd be in the position to give customer service and so it's in our own interest to be in our best act when we take customer service from those who give it for a living.

Just as humans have different attitudes, customer service could come in the best way or the wrong way depending on the individual giving it, and this leaves the customer the choice to decide going back or never go back.

I've had my own share of bad customer service and I believe everyone has even though they chose not to be affected by it. In every street, there are many stores and shops to get what is needed but to every individual on that street, there is that one shop that stands out in how they give their services especially the good services and so, they draw in more patronage.

Even in market places where there are like hundreds of shops in it, I find comfortable transactions for myself and have those shops as my "go-to" whenever I visit the market. But there is this mini mall that isn't so far from where I live that I'd like to share regarding this topic.

This mini mall caught my attention the first time I came across it on one of the streets, it had literally everything I could ever want to buy and their prices were fair enough. I was actually impressed by how the owner packaged the place and could sell whatever to make sure she has whatever her customers comes to buy.

But the lady lacks one thing and that is good customer service.

Maybe it got into her head that people love patronizing her or that she earns better than her competitors around or maybe she just has that bad relationship with people, she gives really bad customer service and no one dares to prove right in her mall even if they are actually right.

First of all, she never smiles and I know the magic smiles bring about when customers are attended to with it but she doesn't seem to know that. She would frown everyday as if she has family issues to deal with at home but maybe I'm over exaggerating the reason but really, her face is nothing to look forward to when you visit her mall.

Another annoying thing she does is that she never has change to give back after customer payment. She wouldn't want you giving her back her items but she won't also have the change to give you. Then when you go back for your change, she treats you like you want to steal from her, it's super annoying and I can tell that people stop patronizing for this reason alone.

How she packages your items after buying is not presentable especially when you buy little. She would be all good and a bit of a smile when she sells to customers who drive cars to get items from her but she treats the walk in customers as poor and doesn't deserve her presentable packages for their items, it can be really annoying when you experience it yourself.

I stopped patronizing her but I hope that someone would call her to her actions and make her see reasons to give better services to anyone who stops by. Her mini mall is amazing and would be everyone's bus stop if she improves on her customer service even if it isn't perfect.

Oh no that’s really bad
It’s not fair to be nice to rich customers and treat poor customers anyhow
And of course she sure is doing it because she knows her things are affordable
Those people think they are rather doing you a favour by selling to you

It's really not fair, I felt so too but she doesn't seem to know that.
Don't mind them, they don't think they won't sell if we don't patronize them πŸ˜…

I know right
