A lying tongue.

I welcome you to my blog. One thing I have come to realize is the fact that we cannot do life alone, but sometimes we come across people that make us wish we could actually do life alone and not need people. There are friends and family that, after an encounter with them, you are left wishing your paths did not cross, those that want to take advantage of you and what you have to offer. One thing about life is that the people that hurt you the most are those who you least expect to hurt you; those who you must have brought so close will just leave you in awe with their actions.

We have all, at a point in our lives, had to let go of a friendship, not because we wanted to but because they left us no other choice than to let them go and move on with our lives for peace to reign and so we can enjoy and keep our sanity and good name. Trust me, some people are not supposed to be kept as friends, which is why some friendships need to end and we have to move on with our lives, but sometimes there are those who are worth keeping around, but for the fact that they have one character or the other, we come to realize that we are not compatible and we are forced to end the friendship.

We are humans, and there are different characters we can actually put up with; there are some that we cannot even tolerate for a day. What we can actually watch and let slide differs from one person to another. Because you can tolerate certain things does not mean you should expect another person to do the same; what you can tolerate or see as nothing is what breaks the camel's back for another person.

I used to be friends with a cool guy, but no one is 100 percent perfect; we all have flaws, but admitting to these flaws and working on them is how we keep people who cannot put up with these flaws in our lives. This guy is cool, but the lies that come out of his mouth are from the pit of hell; it takes him nothing to cook up a lie in his defense or whenever the need arises. Whenever we come home late, all we need to do is support any lie he comes up with. Sometimes he goes out alone, and when he is asked, he claims to be in my house, and I am called to bear witness, and I always do so to cover up for him, but slowly things start getting out of hand.

He started taking his parents money and lying that I was there when he worked for it or we worked together and got paid for it; he did it twice without informing me, and I was called to confirm if what he said was true, and I stood for Him like it was expected but told him not to put me in such tight spots again or even if he wants to, he should give me a head start and not just take me unaware. He apologized but did it again and again, and this time I just had to say the truth, which made him angry, and that is how our friendship ended. Because of his new character, I was glad the friendship ended, but for his other characters, I was sad because he was indeed a cool guy.
