IT'S A PAINFUL JOURNEY FIRST, BUT A PEACEFUL JOURNEY NOW....HOW?

in 500 Words a day4 years ago (edited)

In my last article, I spoke about India's journey. Now, am going to post about my journey to the Steem first and Hive next.

Let me get nostalgic. It's sometimes very pleasant to get nostalgic, that's a special feel, and very tough to explain about it.

I used to work in an ad agency in Chennai as an Office Administrator and Content Writer as well. At that time, I befriended one person who is so nice and his name is Prasanth. I need to say a special thanks to him as it was because of only I was able to step into the Steemit Platform. He is the one who enlightened me about it and created an ID as well as a logo for the same.

I used to post so many articles but used to get only feeble response from the STEEMians, the reason being the zero impact my articles had on their minds! I really got damn discouraged and an air of voidness played considerable damage in my mind. It took me some time to fill my mind with self-confidence and this seemed to be very little to lift my spirits up.

At that time, my savior is @crypto.piotr Sir. I will never forget him for the rest of my life. He did a lot to get my STEEM journey going. Then, he along with a set of people including @neavvy Sir and many more respectable STEEMians used to post beautiful articles and post those links to me with some STEEM. On my part, I used to post comments to the best of my knowledge. If the subject was known to me, I would read the article with immense interest and that itself is enough for me to post, but if the subject of the article is unknown to me, I would google the concerned topic, gather some info about it, gain some knowledge and then move on to comment on the topic posted by those respectable STEEMians.

It was during this time, I met another savior called Mr. @nathanmars7 and his wonderful pushups strategy 777. Initially, I was a bit reluctant to come in front of the camera, but motivational words from him boosted my spirits and made me participate full-fledged in this 777 pushups challenge and I used to post videos after doing the push-ups with some supporting content. So, this Push-ups Pushed our relationship to the peak and we used to speak very often through WhatsApp,

Everything was moving fine until one morning that disaster occurred. I was from a middle-class family and my earnings are also very average that any additional expense will put me under severe trouble. At that point in time, my laptop had a problem and to make things worse, my Android phone had some serious issues. But, I made a blunder. I should have visited a browsing center and informed them about the problem. Due to the work pressure and non-availability of time and some personal problems, I was unable to post any message.

Nearly a year is lost and it is the same period of time that brought STEEMIT to a grinding halt and since I stopped visiting STEEMIT, I don't know the developments. And after a long gap, I got a life-restoring call from my Torchbearer @nathanmars7 and he briefed me about our #HIVE community and if it weren't for his support and encouragement, this sort of development from my side is UNIMAGINABLE.

While some people make our lives miserable, some people fill our lives with happiness. Most of us mostly have the former ones as there is no dearth of such kind of people, BUT THE LATTER ONES ARE VERY RARE TO FIND, AND SINCE I WAS VERY MUCH FORTUNATE, I WAS ABLE TO GET CONNECTED WITH MY TORCHBEARER @nathamars7. NOW. I AM SO SURE THAT MY FUTURE IS SECURED AND PEACEFUL

So, it is my turn to support him to uplift our #HIVE community and I don't how I am going to do it, but I will do it ANYHOW with the Almighty's Grace.

So, LET'S ALL HIT IT HARD THIS TIME AND LIFT THE #HIVE COMMUNITY TO THE MARS! TO THE TOP OF THE TOP!

I see you are getting your five hundred words in -- keep going!

Thank you so much for your invaluable response. Whenever I see anyone responding to my article, it fills my mind with a plenty of joy, and to be more appropriate, I must say that "I am on cloud nine".

I know from my long journey here that feedback keeps folks going -- people did it for me, so it is time to pay it forward!

Responsible HIVEians like you are our elder members of our #HIVE family and it's very happy to be a junior member of this Great, Big & United Mega Family called #HIVE community! 🙂🙂🙂

Super happy to be reading this my man 👨

Let’s keep on moving forward together with our Hive

The moment I saw your reply, my mind was filled with HAPPINESS....Thank you so much for your encouraging words, my dear Torchbearer!

Most of us here started off on steem as well. It was a strange place and easy to get lost and discouraged. The majority of people that I started with are gone now as they never gave it a proper chance. Only through consistent effort will you be able to succeed here and build a following. That takes time but is worthwhile in the long run.

People like nathan and piotr are great for this as they add a lot of value to that journey from small to big fish. The lift people up with them which is a great help for anybody that is struggling. Glad to see you back and giving it another go. It won't always be easy but keep writing and keep growing.

DEFINITELY, Sir. I will. Thanks for your encouraging words, instant response & your solid support.

I cherish these sweet moments on #HIVE because of all of your collective cooperation. Never seen such a wonderful community like #HIVE. It's like never before and never after things of sorts.

Bye for now @niallon11, Sir

Very happy to hear this from you!
