This is a Single Episode Anime that was recently released on Netflix and I just watched it yesterday after I casually stumbled upon an Instagram Reel stating that this One was linked to One Piece. So the name of this Anime is Monster 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation and it stars our very own Wano Samurai Ryuma The King. This One-Shot Manga was released way back in 1994 and it is now that we see the Anime version of that Manga and that is probably because of the success of One Piece Anime, the One Piece Live Action Anime, and many other factors that led to the release of this One Episode Anime which showed a glimpse of the Journey of Ryuma when he left Wano Kingdom.
THE STORY
The Story revolves around Ryuma The King who stumbles across a town where he meets a Girl who was the only survivor of a Dragon attack in her last village. One thing leads to another and Ryuma is indebted to her so he protects her with his life when the time comes. The thing that ties the story together with One Piece is at the End of the Episode they replay Ryuma giving Zorro his SHISHUI SWORD.
If you ask me what I think about this One Episode Anime then I would just say that it was a Pleasure and a Surprise to watch this Anime as I was not expecting such a Lore of Ryumma and after watching this I am wondering why not make such small One Episode Animes for a lot of the One Pirce Characters which are not well known.
I truly hope that this was the start of a truly beautiful thread of episodes where we get to see more of our One Piece Characters with their Solo Journeys.
