I was just a kid but I was smart enough to know that a birthday party needed some decorations here and there, some preparations here and there. None of that was happening in our house. Both our parents were also around and very relaxed. I had become a laughing stock for that sister of mine.
Oh maybe I really needed to get into some character to remind everyone it was my birthday.

It was a double celebration for me as my birthday coincided with the day I did my external defence for my master's thesis.The day began with an unexpected and heartwarming surprise: I got a brand new phone as a gift. I was caught off guard by this sweet gesture because it was perfect timing.

The sweet memories from my birthday in 2021 didn't start on the 24th but on the day I went out with my friends in preparation for my big day. It was supposed to be a simple celebration since I planned to use my money for everything but the excitement got the best part of me and somehow it went from simple to what I'll call, perfect at that time. I did a photo shoot after I bought new wears and hair (added a few of the photos and a video in the post for your view). And the day finally came.
