A Favourite Content Creator Outside Hive.

The first book that got me fascinated to this amazing creator was "Atomic Habits" and ever since then, I have been reading and learning about this proficient being especially reading his daily emails and articles which I do get every time.

James Clear is the author of the book "Atomic Habits". James is a renowned author, speaker, writer and thought leader who has dedicated his time to helping individuals unlock their potential and achieve remarkable results through the power of habits and continuous improvement. James observed how people are facing so many distractions and demands that the things the world needs are how to improve themselves and grow successfully, hence coming out among the many best authors to provide what every individual needs. He operates primarily in the self-improvement and personal development industry and focuses on topics such as productivity, habit formation and continuous improvement.

His journey into personal development started when he became fascinated with human behaviours and wanted to understand the science behind habit formation. His background in psychology and being an experienced athlete made him embark on a mission to break down the complexity of human behavioural science into actionable insight that individuals can apply to their daily lives.


James Clear's philosophy lies in the concept of atomic habits which means the small changes which when combined over time would yield remarkable results. One of his best-selling books is the "Atomic Habit" where he delves into the formation of habit, practical strategies for breaking old and bad habits while forming new ones and mastering the art of behaviour change. Through irresistible anecdotes, scientific research, practical tips and advice, Clear encourages each individual to take control of their habit and design a purposeful life and fulfilment.

One of his principles I found fascinating is the principle of habit stacking — this is the practice of bringing new habits to existing routines to make them easier to adopt. An example which he gave in his book is when an individual needs to start a meditation every morning but always forgets, since he has the habit of making a cup of coffee each morning, he could easily insert the new habit (meditation) into the existing routine (making a cup of coffee), i.e, After I pour my cup of coffee, I will meditate for two minutes. This is an example of habit stacking.

He went further to add that when individuals leverage the power of context and consistency, they can be able to integrate positive behaviours with ease into their daily lives which results in sustainable growth and transformation.


Aside from sharing his knowledge in books, James, being a prolific content creator, also shares his insights and expertise through various channels which include his websites, newsletters, daily emails and social media platforms.
