At least in Mexico they did the Bimettalic in silver back in 1993 but the government cut that project short and the silver coinage went under the counter, Gresham's Law once again.

I learned so much by doing my research deep. Salinas had the right idea, but the Powers that be (Banksters) are the likely culprits behind this coin's demise.
