Breakfast,they say,is morning's delight,
A light warm meal to start the day right.
But in my country, it’s not always so —
Many can’t afford what others know.

In places where money is hard to find,
Big meals are not what come to mind.
No eggs, no tea, no fancy plate,
Just something small — if it’s not too late.

Each family has its own way,
Of what “breakfast” means each day.
For some, it’s food with love and care,
For others,it's just whatever is there

Some don’t even see it as a need,
Just one small meal to fill their need.
Not for joy, or for the taste —
Just to keep hunger in its place
