The winners
🥇 1st place: @bseffectdraw CLOSE BOND - 13 pts - prize: 20% of the post's earnings
This stunning pencil drawing shows a young girl with freckles surrounded closely by three sheep, creating a powerful and emotional composition. The detailed textures of the girl's skin and the sheep’s wool are incredibly realistic, capturing a deep sense of connection and calmness.
The artist shared that this work, titled "Close Bond," is their second hyperrealistic piece this year and symbolizes the deep relationship between a shepherd girl and her sheep — and more broadly, between humans and nature. The girl’s innocent, trusting gaze and the sheep nestled closely around her emphasize this special bond. The artist expressed pride in the progress and joy in creating the piece.
🥈 2nd place:
@gatubela La gata en la ventana 🐱🌻🎨) - 9 pts - prize: 15% of the post's earnings
This charming watercolor painting depicts a black-and-white cat sitting by a window, with colorful yellow-flowered curtains framing the scene. The cat's bright green eyes and curious expression are beautifully captured, creating a warm and lively atmosphere.
The artist shared that she is currently focused on learning to paint and draw cats more quickly and with greater detail, aiming to make cats a recurring theme in her work. She is studying feline anatomy, expressions, and unique features to develop her own artistic style. For this piece, she used watercolor on cardstock, starting with a basic sketch made of geometric shapes — a method that has greatly helped her improve their drawing skills.
🥉 3rd place :
@vragolana Razlivanje plave/Spilling the blue - 7 pts - prize: 15% of the post's earnings
This watercolor painting portrays an atmospheric urban scene with a bridge and a line of cars in the foreground. The artwork is done in cool shades of blue and gray, giving it a moody, misty feeling, while the loose brushwork creates a sense of movement and depth.
The artist shared that this piece is, in her opinion, her most mature and complete work so far — technically, compositionally, and atmospherically. Although they couldn’t photograph the entire process because it had to be painted in one go, she believes the final quality more than makes up for it. Only the initial sketch and the finished piece were shown, highlighting the spontaneous and dynamic creation process.
Congratulations to the winners! 🎉

Congratulations to all the winners.
I will suggest one entry per person. Last time I saw some people having about 4 entries or more which made it cumbersome and complicated.
