yes, i agree that “we don’t even need trade/barter.” it appears that you are interrupting my sharing about the period, of my lifetime experience, where i thrived without any money on account, where i was volunteering on permaculture project demonstration sites, as a form of trade or barter; yes, i was trading my love/labor for food/shelter…but, i look at it more as gift giving and gift receiving… definitely no barter of goods.
