Ya ustedes saben que yo soy una fanática de cumpleaños, esta vez fue el turno de mi prima. Y me adelante todo lo que pude comprando y pensando un dia diferente. Ella es amante de la coca cola y ya nos había dicho que le gustaría un cumpleaños así. Fue entonces como junto a mi mama nos pusimos manos a la obra.
You already know that I am a birthday fanatic, this time it was my cousin's turn. And I went ahead as much as I could buying and thinking of a different day. She is a coke lover and had already told us that she would like a birthday like this. That's when my mom and I got down to work.
Yo, me fui unos días antes a los chinos de Unión Latinoamericana, es una zona donde venden al mayor, es como donde compran las demás tiendas. Allí conseguí unos globos largos negros, un corazón metalizado y otros tradicionales rojos. También unos parales para montarlos, no sabía que existían, son bastante funcionales, si eres como yo que te gusta lo práctico y que resuelve rápido.
I went a few days before to the Chinese store in “Unión Latinoamericana”, it's an area where they sell wholesale, it's like where the other stores buy. There I got some long black balloons, a metallic heart and other traditional red ones. I didn't know they existed, they are quite functional, if you are like me, you like practicality and quick solutions.
Una vez decorado todo me fui al supermercado a comprarle una torta deliciosa de oreo y luego volví rápidamente para, por supuesto hacerle su respectivo quesillo, le encanta. Así me fui al trabajo dejando todo listo para que cuando ella llegará encontrara su sorpresa y así fué. Se emocionó muchísimo y eso a mi me alegra el corazón.
Once everything was decorated I went to the supermarket to buy her a delicious oreo cake and then I came back quickly to, of course, make her her respective quesillo, she loves it. So I went to work leaving everything ready so that when she arrived she would find her surprise and so it was. She was very excited and that made my heart happy.
Después, el día que estuvimos libres nos fuimos con el chiquitín de la casa al MUT, el Mercado Urbano Tobalaba, ya lo he mostrado por acá, pero ellos no lo conocían. Está justo al frente de la estación Tobalaba, es azul y línea 4. Ellos se sorprendieron de toda la decoración que tiene ese centro comercial, es bastante fuera de lo común y como un abreboca de tendencias y modernidad.
Then, the day we were free we went with the little one of the house to the MUT, the Tobalaba Urban Market, I have already shown it here, but they did not know about it. It is right in front of Tobalaba station, it is blue and line 4. They were surprised by all the decorations that this mall has, it is quite out of the ordinary and like a taste of trends and modernity.
Luego de conocer hasta el último rincón del MUT, decidimos comer en “Loca Pasta” una sucursal de un restaurante italiano muy conocido acá. Yo tenía mis dudas, pero me sorprendí con lo buenas que son, el gusto al punto, la porción muy buena y el pan que lo acompaña es delicioso, hecho por ellos mismos.
After visiting every corner of the MUT, we decided to eat at “Loca Pasta”, a branch of a well-known Italian restaurant here. I had my doubts, but I was surprised with how good they are, the taste to the point, the portion very good and the bread that accompanies it is delicious, made by themselves.
Así culminó la temporada cumpleañera en este hogar, hasta septiembre que celebremos el del chiquitín. Festejar tu día de nacimiento como gustes es importante, pues es homenajearte a ti y todo lo que has logrado, aun cuando no estés del todo como deseas, valora lo que estás cosechando, tú mejor que nadie conoce tu esfuerzo, así que no dejes pasar por debajo de la mesa tu día especial.
This is the end of the birthday season in this home, until September when we celebrate the birthday of the little one.
