My running update

Hello and welcome! :)

So, I've been running for a few weeks now and I want to write an update of how everything has changed. Well, maybe not everything but a lot.

First of all, my physical condition is definitely improving. When I started running, it was hard for me to run 2 full circles at the stadium, then I started doing 3, which was fine, and now I am doing 4.

I have recently listened to a podcast where a girl said that "people who run do it only for the feeling after it, because running itself is extremely boring" and I don't know if I agree. On the one hand, yes, it is, and it's very tiring as well, but I like getting up in the morning knowing that I am about to go for a run, actually getting ready and going there. This has its own kind of vibe, and after it I take a shower with my music on and it's a great way to start my day. So, maybe it's true that running itself is boring, but everything connected with it, as well as the feeling after is definitely worth it!!!

I don't run every day, and it is sometimes because of the weather and sometimes because I need at least a one-day break. I try to stretch on those days.

Another thing I'd like to talk about are people. At first I only saw a guy who was cutting grass at the stadium, but recently I have encountered a group of people who were running as well, and I think they are colleagues. I was running at the same time, and they were all faster then me, but that didn't matter. That day I started doing 4 circles instead of 3, and I think others motivated me to do so.

I am still not running long distances, I don't think that I will ever be doing that, but I am happy with my slow progress. I need to focus more on breathing while running, and eating well every day.

Stay tuned!

Keep up the good work @aleximprovement

Thanks, I totally agree:))

I'm training at the gym and it's exhausting but rewarding. Running is a nice activity

That's very good as well! How long have you been training?
