So far today has been great. I have, as an individual, made it a habit to picture and plan my day the night before. Today was no exception; I planned it all out. But, just like some other days, I have not been able to live out my plans. Due to the issues with electricity in this part of the world, I had already planned to go to a friend's place to continue with my project on or before 8:00 am. The reason is simple: his house is powered by a solar system, and I have nothing to worry about while working with my system. I eventually got there, but it was past 10:00 am by the time I got there; that was the beginning of me failing in my plans for the day.
I am actually wrong; it all began with the fact that I encountered an online remote job lecture online. A lecture that took over an hour of my time, only to speak of things that are certainly not new to me. I was not only disappointed, but at the same time, my time was wasted. Come to think of it now, it was a free class; I should not have expected much. Inasmuch as I anticipate it, I have never been a freelancer before; encountering the lecture this morning felt like a great opportunity to me, but it never was. I ended up with plenty of success stories, alongside assurances that it is possible and easy to become a freelancer, before actually being introduced to the main deal. I eventually got to realise that the lecture was all about creating awareness for a three-month lecture that he is yet to organise.
I am currently in my friend's place making this post, and it has been a good day so far. I still have some activities that are yet to come. I would eventually leave here by 4:00 pm to go prepare for my football training; from there, I will be going for choir rehearsals by 6:00 pm. Eventually, I will get home between 8:00 pm and 9:00 pm; I have got it all planned out. But then, it sometimes does not work out exactly as planned; but most times, it works out well enough.
As at this point in time, it is 2:30 pm here in Nigeria, but I will not be publishing this post yet. My last post is barely 14 hours old, and as part of my decisions on spacing my publications, I would have to wait until it is at least 24 hours. Yet, I must write now that I have the disposition. In all, this post will eventually be published at midnight.
