I have been busy preparing for my son's christening these past few days. Also, there are 11 days left before my husband is home. Since the other day, I've been washing his clothes, as it has been more than a year since the last time he used them. Thanks to technology, I am not doing it manually, or else I'll die from exhaustion, LOL.
Thus, for today, let's share how my weekend, particularly Saturday, goes.
December 07, I attended the pre-baptism seminar as part of Catholic practice.* It is required for parents, godmothers, and fathers. Since I had no one to take care of Caleb for a while, I decided to bring him along with me. I wasn't worried, as he behaved so well whenever we went out. Besides, the church was only 10-15 minutes' walk from our home. The only problem was that he was too heavy to carry. My arms ache after 🤣.
Luckily, my brother-in-law passed by with his bike and was kind enough to drive me to church. That's a relief and savings as I planned to ride in a tricycle.
The schedule was eight in the morning, but the charge was practicing Filipino time; she arrived past nine a.m.
As usual, everyone was with their husbands and godparents, while I was only with Caleb. I won't deny that I don't feel sad, but that's life.
The Parochial church here was huge, and there is even a part under construction. The assigned priest was also strict and compliant with what he was supposed to do.
Finally, the person in charge called for registration, and when she asked me how many people were on my list, I told her I was alone.
Since everyone heard me, I could feel their judge's look! I think they thought I was a single Mom.
I told my husband about it, and he laughed and, at the same time, was sad.
The catechist gave us this booklet, which cost Php.80. It contains all the prayers for the entire ceremony. The catechist also reminded us to participate well and answer loudly to the Parish priest.
The Bib is to be used during the christening.
Though bored, Caleb behaved for more than an hour throughout the seminar. He slept, looked around, and had some milk.
I thought he would cry, but I'm thankful he didn't.
Before going home, I stopped by Milktea's house because I wanted a Frappe. It didn't taste the way I wanted it, but somehow, it satisfied my cravings.
When we arrived home, my baby was so tired. Yeah, he is the more tired one.
And starving!
Oh, how I wish I could chill like this, too, baby!

Why don't you put him in a stroller so you don't have to carry him? Those little feet, I wish I could tickle it😁😛.
What I said!
😛😛
I don't feel safe!
Besides, if it would rain or too hot when we are going home, it would be a struggle to fold it 🤣
