Surprises in Recoleta: The exhibition that left me speechless 😱 // Sorpresas en Recoleta: La exhibición que me dejó sin palabras 😱 [EN/ SP]

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing very well today.
It's already Monday, we're far from the weekend, but at least we can start planning what we'll do on those days. Weekends are exciting for me because that's when I take a break from my routine and can do whatever comes to mind without needing to plan so rigidly. Even so, I am someone who needs to plan everything 😂
In the middle of this introduction, I will proceed to share my plan from last weekend.

Ya es lunes, estamos lejos del fin de semana pero al menos podemos empezar a planear qué haremos esos días
Los fines de semana son emocionantes para mí, ya que es cuando descanso de mi rutina y puedo hacer lo que se me ocurra, sin necesidad de estar planificando tan rígidamente. Aún así, soy una persona que necesita planificar todo 😂
En medio de esta introducción, voy a proceder a contar mi plan del fin de semana pasado.

Several years ago, I discovered my love for visiting art exhibitions, museums, and beautiful buildings in terms of architecture... things like that. Art.
And since it had been a long time since I spent time in those places, I decided to go back to reconnect with those spaces and moments with myself, which I like so much. Analyzing the works, reading the artists' stories, delving into what they thought when creating them. It interests me a lot.
That's how I thought of going to the museum at the Centro Cultural Recoleta, located in the neighborhood of the same name, in the federal capital of Buenos Aires. It wasn't by chance that I chose this place to resume my habits. This month, there is an exhibition called "How Much Does Love Weigh?" and since I am a lover of love, I was very eager to see it.

Hace varios años descubrí mi gusto por visitar muestras artísticas, museos, edificios hermosos a nivel arquitectura ... cosas así. Arte.
Y como hace mucho tiempo no pasaba tiempo en esos lugares, decidí volver para reencontrarme con esos espacios y momentos conmigo misma, que me gustan tanto. Analizar las obras, leer las historias de los artistas, profundizar en lo que pensaron al crearlas. Me interesa muchísimo.
Así fue como pensé en ir al museo del Centro Cultural Recoleta, ubicado en el barrio del mismo nombre, en la capital federal de Buenos Aires. No fue de casualidad que escogí este lugar para retomar mis hábitos. Este mes hay una muestra que se llama ¿Cuanto pesa el amor? así que como soy una enamorada del amor, tenía muchas ganas de ir a verla.

First, I chose to enter an exhibition that caught my attention with its gloomy tones. The first image I saw is the first one I'm attaching. It captivated my attention because I already like works that allow the viewer to draw their own conclusions and give it meaning, beyond the artist's intentions. To me, it conveyed a sense of loneliness, seriousness, boredom, disappointments, falseness, and discomfort.
I invite you to take a few seconds and analyze for yourselves what the different images evoke in you.

En primer lugar, elegí entrar a una muestra que llamó mi atención por sus sus tonos lúgubres. La primer imagen que vi, fue la primera que adjunto. Cautivó mi atención porque ya de en sí, me gustan las obras que le permitan al espectador sacar sus propias conclusiones y darle el sentido, más allá de las intenciones del artista. A mí me dio la sensación de que se buscaba transmitir soledad, seriedad, aburrimiento, decepciones, falsedad, incomodidad.
Les invito a que se tomen unos segundos y analicen por su propia cuenta lo que les generan las distintas imágenes.

The second exhibition I entered was this one, which stood out for the artist's illustrations, abstractly relating the current technological world with humanity and how we perceive technology in our lives.

La segunda muestra a la que ingresé fue esta, que se destacaba por las ilustraciones del artista, que relacionaba de una forma abstracta, el mundo tecnológico actual con la humanidad. Con cómo percibimos la tecnología en nuestra vida.

After spending a considerable amount of time viewing and analyzing these works, I went out to the cultural center's courtyard because it gives access to the exhibition I had initially come to see.
I really liked the space's decoration. They hung fabrics from the ceiling, with a strange texture but that being in harmony with each other, created something visually pleasing.

Luego de estar un tiempo considerable viendo y analizando estas obras, salí al patio del centro cultural porque da acceso a la muestra que había ido a ver desde un comienzo.
Me gustó muchísimo la decoración del espacio. Colgaron telas desde el techo, con una textura rara pero que al estar en composé una con otra, generando algo lindo visualmente.

When my moment of taking photos of the space I liked so much ended, I noticed the number of people waiting to enter the exhibition I had come to see. It was impossible to get in, and it was also impossible for me to wait that long. I don't like waiting, so I thought it would be better to come back another day during the week to avoid so many people.

Cuando terminó mi momento de tomar fotos al espacio que me había gustado mucho, noté la cantidad de gente esperando por entrar a la muestra que había ido a ver. Era imposible ingresar y además de que era imposible de que yo me quedara a esperar tanto tiempo. No me gusta esperar así que pensé en que sería mejor volver otro día, durante la semana, para evitar que haya tanta gente.

I was a bit disappointed because I really wanted to see it, but well, I settled for coming back another day. So, at that moment, I decided to see the last exhibition of my day trip. Even though I don't like abstract art much because I don't understand it, I chose it because there were many interesting textures that caught my attention.

Me quedé un poco decepcionada porque realmente quería verla pero bueno, me conformé con volver otro día. Así que en ese momento, decidí ver la última muestra de mi día de paseo. Si bien no me gusta mucho el arte abstracto porque no lo entiendo, la elegí porque habían muchas texturas interesantes que me llamaron la atención.
