En esta segunda clase desde que comenzó la cursada teníamos que recolectar aún más información acerca de los dos temas que nos habían elegido los profesores.
Let's remember that these topics were about the proposals that had been left and it was a device to treat menstrual cramps and an equipment that would allow us to make painting works, be it scale models, figures, etc. We had to collect first-hand information on these topics, conduct surveys, look for existing products that met these requirements, analyze their materials and components to get an idea of the cost of production since for the next class we had to bring information on the possible components of the machine or device we would make to give an estimate of the cost of development.
Recordemos que estos temas eran sobre las propuestas que habían quedado y era un aparato para tratar los dolores menstruales y un equipo que permitiera realizar trabajos de pintura ya sea maquetas, figuras a escala, etc. Debíamos recolectar información de primera mano sobre estos temas, realizar encuestas, buscar productos que existieran que cumplieran con estos requisitos, analizar sus materialidades y sus componentes para ir teniendo una idea del costo de producción ya que para clases siguiente debíamos traer información sobre los posibles componentes que llevaría la maquina o aparato que hagamos para dar un estimativo del costo de desarrollo.

The group was divided in two to carry out the task, we put together two surveys and began to distribute them to the interest groups to collect the valuable information and luckily for us many people responded so we collected data of interest.

About the information on menstrual pains in general, they answered that 60% of women have felt uncomfortable because of the pains, between 1 and 10 on the pain scale we got an 8 or quite a lot of pain for these dates, in general they said that this affects their daily activities, we also asked in which areas they felt the pains or if they had any method to reduce them. All this would be useful for the delivery that we had to make and if this proposal was chosen to make a better focus on the real problems that the product should solve.
Sobre la información de los dolores menstruales en general nos respondieron que el 60% de las mujeres se ha sentido incomoda por los dolores, entre el 1 y el 10 en la escala de dolor obtuvimos un 8 o sea bastante dolor para estas fechas, en general dijeron que esto afecta a sus actividades diarias, también preguntamos en que zonas sentían los dolores o si tenían algún método para disminuirlos. Todo esto nos serviría para la entrega que teníamos que hacer y llegado el caso de ser elegida esta propuesta para hacer un mejor foco en los problemas reales que debería resolver el producto.

Yendo a los datos recolectados para la cabina de pintura le preguntamos a las personas que podrían necesitar este producto que, si lo comprarían, que requisitos creían ellos que eran necesarios que tenga la máquina, como por ejemplo iluminación, espacios para colocar pinceles, pinturas, que tuviera algún sistema de secado rápido, etc de esta forma nos íbamos dando cuenta los requerimientos y el nivel de importancia de cada uno.

Once we finished with the surveys, it was time to start putting the information on the sheets, for that we used figma and prepared the A3 sheets, we also investigated what we thought would be necessary to assemble each of the products, in the case of the device for menstrual pains we thought about the material since it should be in contact with the skin, the adjustment system, the battery in case it was wireless, the casing it should have, its buttons and all the electronics section. It was very important to take all this into account since we needed the components to be easily available and obtainable in the short term in order to be able to carry out the project, since in Argentina there are problems with imports.
Una vez terminamos con las encuestas tocaba empezar a volcar la información en las láminas, para eso utilizamos figma y fuimos preparando las hojas A3, también nos encargamos de investigas que cosas creíamos que serian necesarias para armar cada uno de los productos en el caso del aparato para los dolores menstruales pensamos en la materialidad ya que debería estar en contacto con la piel, el sistema de ajuste, la batería en caso de ser inalámbrico, la carcasa que esta debería tener, sus botones y todo el apartado de la electrónica. Era muy importante tener en cuenta todo esto ya que necesitábamos que los componentes sean sencillos de conseguir y obtenibles en el corto plazo para poder hacer el proyecto ya que en Argentina hay problemas con las importaciones.
For the spray booth we thought of a plastic or sheet metal housing, we were going to need programming, an Arduino board, devices to measure temperature, a motor, fans, filters and screws, this clearly in broad strokes, but it was useful to have an idea of the budget we were going to manage. The idea was that this device would extract the air from the spray booth when one is using aerosols or airbrushes so that the paint particles suspended in the air are extracted and filtered, we also thought of a rotating base to avoid having to touch the piece to be painted, internal lighting to work and perhaps some space to store brushes or other things, all this as it is intended for use within the home should not occupy much space and would have to be transportable so these were also important requirements to consider.
Para la cabina de pintura pensamos en una carcasa de plástico o chapa, íbamos a necesitar programar, una plaqueta de Arduino, dispositivos para medir temperatura, un motor, ventiladores, filtros y tornillos, esto claramente a grandes rasgos, pero nos servía para ir teniendo una idea del presupuesto que íbamos a manejar. La idea era que este dispositivo extraiga el aire de la cabina de pintura cuando uno este usando aerosoles o aerógrafos para que las partículas de pintura suspendidas en el aire sean extraídas y a su vez filtradas, también pensamos en una base giratoria para no tener que tocar la pieza a pintar, iluminación interna para trabajar y tal vez algún espacio para guardar pinceles u otras cosas todo esto como esta pensado para usar dentro del hogar no debía ocupar mucho espacio y tendría que poder transportarse así que estos eran también unos requerimientos importantes a tener en cuenta.

Si, tambien pensamos lo mismo con el dispositivo para los dolores, hay un abanico muy amplio de personas con diferentes requerimientos sumado a que necesitamos contar constantemente con un especialista para hacer consultas y la verdad no lo tenemos jajaja así que la dificultad para ese proyecto nos supera.
