Either my brain gets bigger or my head shrinks. In any case, that's the kind of stress I sometimes feel at the end of the day. I'd usually ignore it and keep on working, maybe watch some of my YouTube downloads, or play some video games. But it compounds like it did recently and then I break down.
I get about seven hours of sleep every night, which is a lot more than I often expect, so it baffles me how the stress happens anyway. I couldn't work any less anyway -- because I don't think it is too much... yet -- but I surely see a significant drop in productivity as my attentional space shrinks drastically towards the end of the day.
Breakdown would either be falling ill or just flatline lethargy. It's usually the latter, and I just can't be having that. So I switched things up a bit.
Had I been working out? Barely. Feeding well? Well, I try to not feel hungry. Sleeping fine? Adequately, perhaps. Drinking enough water? Nahh.
Morning jogs, more fruits, afternoon power naps, and at least four liters of water daily. I tried these for a few days and found a significant difference in my productivity and health. Okay, I should add the extra chicken and beef. That's some more calories, yes, but it really is just me indulging my cravings sometimes.
Anyway, the most interesting one seems to be water. I sometimes underrate its benefits. Or rather, I forget. And for me, if I only drink water when I feel thirsty, I am likely not having enough that day. To fix that, I now carry this water bottle with me and keep it on my desk. When I'm out, I go get some at the dispenser, whether or not I feel like drinking.
It's a one-liter bottle, and I fill it up on an average of four times daily. And since I wouldn't want to risk wetting my precious PC, I'd empty it before packing up my backpack and returning home. To say the least, I sleep even better and do more than usual at the end of the day. You know I'm going to keep at it.
Looks like it's going to rain tonight, by the way. That'll be nice. I wanted to pop in and talk about drinking water before I resume The Wheel of Time film series.

Greetings friends, the human body is a very interesting thing and it will react in the way you treat it and there will always come that day where you can't take it anymore and the stress is very great, no doubt you have to know how to carry it and find that balance. I recommend you to do some exercise and to increase the amount of water and you will see how everything changes.
Yeah, I'm pretty keen on exercises. It's regular for me, thanks
Do you work out at the gym?
try replacing your water with san Pellegrino from glass bottles... you will love it
No idea what that is
More meat, more water. As simple as it seems, it actually works. Also check blood pressure sometimes too, especially if you take surgary things.
My daily sugar intake is very minimal on most days, actually. My BP though, I haven't checked thay in such a long time. You do that often?
Last time I check was like 5 to 6 weeks ago, but apparently I hadn't been sleeping well, so it was just above the normal level. BP controls the kidney and heart and these two organs malfunctions when the BP is either high or low.
So sugar intake pumps the BP too
Makes a lot of sense, yeah. It's why I stopped taking soda. Maybe once in a blue moon. It gets me antsy.
Well occasional soda wouldn't do much harm though, but it's better to just let soda be, especially the energy drinks
