My brother arrived on Tenerife today afternoon with a Ryanair flight.
He said that his ears are blocked, and that he feel pain too in them. Especially during and since the landing.
I experienced the same after at least one of my landings, and I also said to him, before he boarded the airplane, that this can happen.
Probably many people experience this during/after an airplane flight.
Similarly to me, hopefully he will be better in the next few days.
I waited for him at the airport in the afternoon.
After we met at the airport, first we went to San Isidro by bus, and I showed him where the local stores are.
I invited him for a hamburger with cheese + a cup of cappuccino in the McDonald's.
We went to the Lidl to buy meat for my Harris's hawk, and to buy a refreshing drinks for ourselves.
Then, in the evening, we went to the cave/tent living community place.
He met with some of the cave/tent living community people, then I showed him the place.
Tonight he will sleep in the community cave.
Tomorrow a tent will be installed for him, beside my tent, so we will be beside each other.
In the next few days, I will show him the other nearby city, El Médano too.
And in the next week, we will visit Los Cristianos too.
Glad you are together again!

Sounds like your brother had quite the adventure landing in Tenerife! Blocked ears can be a real nuisance, but at least he had you to warn him beforehand. 😄 It's great that you're showing him around San Isidro and treating him to some good ol' McDonald's. The cave/tent living community sounds like a unique experience! I'm sure he'll love exploring El Médano and Los Cristianos with you. Enjoy your time together! 🌍🏕️🍔
I am in the cave/tent living community since the spring of 2023 (so for almost two years by now), and it was much better in the past. It is indeed a unique experience, but nowadays I am rather looking for another place to live. But it is not easy if you have any animals. Nowadays I have a female Harris's hawk.
Your brother is happy. I'm glad that you will show him these beautiful places. !1000ALIVE
He likes San Isidro so far.
Tomorrow we will go to El Médano, then overmorrow to Los Cristianos.
Probably he will like these cities too.
We will see.
